On the island of Nantes, a stone's throw from the Elephant, an exceptional pastry shop has opened where Sabrina, a naturopath by training, and her husband Grégory Lejeune, a pastry chef, work. They both decided to combine their respective passions around this daring and very successful project. This establishment also gives pride of place to creative, healthy and natural pastries. This alternative pastry shop favours the senses: sight, because "you eat first with your eyes", as Sabrina says, and taste, with flavours such as the pears poached in hibiscus juice in the Déli'biscus (sweet pastry, organic vanilla diplomat), the circle of spirulina on the organic vanilla and white chocolate cabbage. The creations, as pretty as they are tasty, are less sweet because they are made exclusively with natural sugars (for example coconut blossom sugar) with a low glycemic index (ideal for diabetics and gourmets who have to be careful), such as the matcha green tea macaroons, with no additives or artificial colourings, with certified organic French flours, as well as non-hybridized and gluten-free flours. The approach is delicate and healthy, ethical and responsible because it favours local and seasonal products. Délicatessaine is also a tea room where you can sit and drink tea or coffee. And you can also enjoy home-made chocolate bars. And as soon as possible, educational workshops will be offered to learn how to bake lighter. Canyon is the first flower café in Nantes. Created by Julia and Simon to delight the senses with dishes, pastries and flowers, the place offers a restaurant with an American touch, revisited with local and seasonal products. You can enjoy a grilled cheese, the club of the week, or a salad, then a homemade granola with vegetable coconut yogurt, or even a trio of sweet or savory pancakes. To be enjoyed with a colored milk like the amazing Raw cacao (fresh raw cacao paste), or a black latte with black sesame and charcoal. Since its creation in 1994, the Pannonica has earned a good reputation among jazz and improvised music lovers. Located under the Paul Fort hall in Talensac, it welcomes every season various artists from the region and elsewhere. One feels good in this convivial and intimate space (the capacity is 140 places), thanks to this spirit of opening proper to the adventurers of jazz. Be careful, here, no jazz called "of repertory". But since jazz feeds freely on other musical styles, one will be able to appreciate nice artistic crossings with hip-hop, rock or songs... For more than 30 years of existence, the Capellia cultural space welcomes, depending on its configuration, from 500 to 1,000 people per performance, that is to say more than 9,000 people per year. The Life (International scene of Emerging Forms) is a space dedicated to the production and dissemination of artistic creation in its various aspects, such as the plastic arts, music, architecture, performing arts, literature, cinema, or video and new media. It was imagined by the architect Berlin Finn Geipel. Inaugurated in April 2007, it became a major element in the recovery of the old submarine base. Life is close to 2000 m 2 on the ground, a reception capacity of 150 to 2500 people.
