This hiking trail in the town of Chartres proposes you to discover this ancient fortified camp from the edge of the Loir. After a passage through the church of Saint-Pierre in the centre of the commune, it is possible to follow a course of Sour, the river baigne Romilly, and trees that have been highlighted. A dozen steps are the journey that can end with the arboretum. With its 226 trees and shrubs, close to 90 different species, this site is a dive in the fauna and flora of the region.

You have to cross a bridge that passes over the Loir populated with ducks to enter Emile Zola Park. Hotels, restaurants, shops, service stations… the Garennes area is ideal for its last-minute shopping. Another industrial area is located in the north of the municipality by heading towards Tours. The Garennes are close to the municipal campsite and a leisure base.

To access the old church Saint-Aubin, you must follow the signs written in red on white funds. After leaving the village of Champrond, you have to go on the road and, behind the canopy cover, the old building appears. To discover Sur in all its attractions, the best thing is to leave the 10 National Road connecting Chartres to Chateaudun to enter the village. The passing of the Loir, which winds in the commune, already gives a good idea of what can be discovered since you can see the back of the houses, sometimes nicely decorated terraces. In the territory of the capital of Perche, Nogent-le-Rotrou (the leisure base is managed by a structure including Margon and Nogent), the Borde water plan welcomes sportsmen of all ages. With children's games, a health course, a boating club or a mountain bike base, the site is expected to satisfy the amateurs of various activities. If bathing is not permitted in the water plan, fishermen are welcome.

The fortress of Bois Ruffin, located in the countryside of the Beauce dunoise between Arrou and Chapelle-Royale, blends the defensive walls of the upper Middle Ages and the plush farmhouses of the modern era.
