Behind the town hall of Saint-Eman, the church restored in the autumn of 2012 an elegant washing house bathed in a basin named «La Source du Loir». It is therefore this site that leaves the river irrigates much of the region situated to the southwest of the department of the Eure-et-Loir. But another peculiarity distinguishes the St. Eman pond from: the presence of a hydraulic ram. This system was used to feed the old castle castle from the river. Mechanisms no longer work, but machines are still visible.
