Every summer, the Meursault Tourist Office organizes guided tours to Meursault, to discover the city. A very comprehensive overview of the cultural and architectural heritage of the municipality. And the visit begins strong because the meeting place and the Hotel de Ville, old castle strong that was used as a decoration for the film La Grande Vadrille. The escapades then lead you to the various castles of the city: Castle of Cîteaux, Château de la Velle, Château de Meursault and Pommard Castle!

A 22-kilometre train ride links the cities of Beaune and Santenay. Known as the vineyards, it crosses the wine fields and villages whose names will evoke some of the great wines. Take the time to admire the architectural features of each village and their castles, often hidden among the vineyards. It takes a little more than two hours to carry out the bike in its entirety, but it is possible to turn around at any time. If you have only one hour's spare time, you can, for example, be satisfied with the route Beaune-Meursault, which is ten kilometres long.

Soon you will be able to access the archaeological excavations of Cestres woods. Since 2003, a small hamlet has been updated, consisting of two farms, fenced gardens and a bread oven and a large building. According to archival documents, this hamlet was reportedly deserted in 1417. A beautiful walk in the woods of Cestres and in the history of the Abbey of Saint-Seine.
