Until the th century, Nice had no port: it was dug at the initiative of King Charles-Emmanuel III in Lympia Cove, to the east of the hill hill, where there is so far an important marsh zone. Today, the port of Nice is France's first cement port, in conjunction with the galets treatment plants of the Paillon valley. The gorges of Reppe and Destel meet in the north of Ollioules to form the gorges of Ollioules. Classified site, they are shaped by water and time that dug huge potholes, caves and tanks in a beautiful white limestone. The Naval Museum was born from the passion of Professor Claude Pallanca, who, since his youth, dreamed of sailing and made models of ships. This princely collection, founded in 1993, brings together more than 250 models and objects of the navy from antiquity to the present day, some of which were built by Prince Albert ^I around 1875. Eventually, the Naval Museum should leave the Fontvieille shopping center and move to another building. Its reserves have already been moved to Ventimiglia (Italy).

Saint Devote is the patron saint and protector of the Principality. Originally from Corsica, she was one of the Christian victims of the persecution led by the Roman emperor Diocletian. According to legend, her entourage managed to recover her remains and put them in a boat, which ran aground in Monaco. The martyr, who became a saint, was buried there. The current church dates from 1870 and is surprising with its facade that rises between two cliffs, near one of the accesses to the railway station. Every January 27, the saint is commemorated by setting fire to a boat on the square.

The Balaguier tower, reflected by its fortifications, protects the harbour of Toulon and the Mediterranean. Built in 1636 under the instruction of Richelieu, it completes the protection of the port of Toulon protecting it by its Royal tower. This artillery building with high battery, designed to fire with its multiple guns still in place, was perfectly positioned so as to prevent access to the small harbour. Towards the end of the seventeenth century, it is complemented by an enclosure, housing, a magazine and a chapel. The tower which became Naval Museum, is now surrounded by lovely gardens, where sculptures and nature are discovered over a ride. During summer, the gardens also host theatres in the evening.

The Gassin Tourist Office is an essential information point for visitors. Office staff are on hand to provide information on leisure activities, accommodation, restaurants and local events. The office also has a store where visitors can buy souvenirs and local products. It also offers free Internet access and a panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Gassin. The naive art museum settled in the Château Sainte-Hélène de Fabron in 1982, ancient house of the perfumer François Coty. This site owes its existence to the donation of arts critics Anatole and Renée Jakovsky who gave him their name. It shows works unique in the world tracing the history of from the 17th century to nowadays: South America, Haiti, Croatia, Central Europe, Europe… Three themes feature the permanent collections: the city in the countryside; fables and popular tales and the history of naive art. You will find the works, sculptures, posters and drawings of more or less famous artists such as Rabuzin, Bauchant, Party, Ivan and Josip Généralic, Grandma Moses, O'Brady, Haddelsey, Rimbert, Vivin, Séraphine, Lefranc, Vivancos….
