An abbey located on the beautiful, peaceful island of Saint-Honorat, with the monastery tower, an imposing seaside keep.
Built around 410 on the island of Saint-Honorat, Lérins Abbey is home to a Cistercian community. Its medieval tower, listed in 1840, was the monks' residence from 1392 to 1788. The church welcomes visitors and offers spiritual retreats. The monks cultivate 8 hectares of vines and 150 olive trees, producing various liqueurs, including the famous Lerina. This historic sanctuary offers an insight into the island's monastic life and traditions for visitors in search of serenity.
