House built in 1883, presenting a collection of prehistoric, Roman and medieval remains in Roquebrune-sur-Argens

This former stable, built in 1883 and fitted out around a 17th century ice house, discovered in 2002 and subsequently turned into a municipal building, has given way to a House that presents the extent and variety of the commune's historical heritage. It houses a collection of prehistoric, Roman and medieval remains, a magnificent collection of ex-votos from the monastery of the Holy Desert of Our Lady of Pity, as well as a medieval garden with medicinal plants. Temporary themed exhibitions are presented.

Lieu gratuit et très intéressant malgré qu il soit petit, tout est bien présenté et diversités de formes et de sujets : photos ancienne, machines pour faire du liège, tenues de chevaliers, antiquité, reste de glaciaire..... je recommande.

Visite intéressante (et gratuite) même si la présentation n'est pas la plus moderne. On apprend beaucoup de choses sur la ville et la région. Il y a de quoi occuper les enfants de façon ludique (puzzles, coloriages, senteurs à reconnaître).
