Every Saturday morning, L'Isle-Jourdain closes its alleyways to traffic and transforms its town center into an open-air market. In Gimont, come and enjoy the "Grasse Matinée" on Sunday mornings at the Halle au Gras! Between October and March, amateurs and professionals gather around carcasses displayed on long tables, cleaned but whole, with the exception of the liver, which is sold separately. The products are inspected by the veterinary services. The market, which complies with current sanitary standards, starts with a whistle, and the most seasoned bidders snap up the finest products. Under the arcades of Place Gambetta, this boutique nestled in a small pink brick house offers the best of the Gers terroir. A large sign displays the products, which come directly from the farm. The farm is owned by the Gesta family of Ferme En Castéra, who have been raising, feeding and processing ducks for over forty years. Prices here are the same as on the farm. You can stock up on local rillettes, pâtés, ready-made meals, foies gras and confits, or leave with a beautifully prepared basket.

Sébastien Londres, a horticulturist from Laymont, has teamed up with other farm producers from the Savès region, close to his farm and already grouped together as part of Mamounette's farmers' markets, to open this pretty producers' grocery on the first floor of a historic house in the center of Lombez, opposite the media library. You'll find duck products from the Bassetto farm in Monblanc, vegetables, herbal teas and Cindy's jams, honey, soaps, artisanal products, and lots of goodies and good cheer.

For 3 generations, the Boutines family has raised, fed and processed ducks in the purest Gers tradition. Come and stock up on goose or duck foie gras, half-cooked, canned or block, liver pâté, stuffed duck hearts... In addition to the sale of the department's wines and the house's ready-made dishes: garbure, cassoulet, cooked beans, duck neck stuffed with foie gras, green lentils with duck gizzards confit or with manchons, duck breasts with Madeira sauce, stewed duck breast with Madiran...

At the Mouliots farm, nestled in a Savès valley, Isabelle Bossetto and her brother Thierry carry on a four-generation family tradition of raising fattened ducks. The Muscovy ducks spend their days outdoors. They are force-fed with white corn grown on site, and slaughtered and processed on the farm. The store offers a wide range of delicious home-made products: foies gras, confits, fresh or dried duck breasts, cooked dishes, traditional (cassoulets, tajines...) or festive (whole royal duck, duck breast stuffed with foie gras...).
