Initially a mixed farming operation in 1963, the estate gradually devoted itself solely to viticulture. 26 hectares of vines in AOC Chinon, planted with Chenin for the white grape variety, and Cabernet Franc, also known as "Breton" for the red grape variety. Elodie and Eric Herault and their son currently produce 8 different wines including red, rosé, sparkling, white and an old vine. A limited quantity cuvée is up for grabs! Before entering the Spice Palace, you didn't know that by asking for salt, you could be faced with more than fifteen different options! Fortunately, in this little shop with a thousand and one scents, the team is there to guide us and tell us the story of the products. Because it's not just salt: pepper is also available in a variety of seasonings, just like olives and other condiments (turmeric, curry, etc.). We are served by weight and we complete our shopping with teas, home-made preserves, or a good rum, unless we opt for the range of Monin syrups or a little sweetness to end this journey that awakens the senses.

The vineyard of Domaine Dutertre is located on three municipalities of the areas of appellations of the canary, ambush, crémant-de-loire. Wine owners for several generations, wines from the approximately 36 ha are quoted and meditated each year. Today, we find ourselves at the head of the family farm Gilles who took over his father Jacques. The range of the domain is offered in the palate with sumptuousness. The amateur of good wines is not ready to forget this red-ambush red-ambush red wine, a wonderful wine on guard, corted and fruity, this rosé rosé-ambush, dry, tender and fruity, this white-ambush white, from the channel but also the very charmic white loser picnic, round and fruity, golden with a finesse of extraordinary bubbles.

Wine here is a true religion. A religion whose proselytes have their feet firmly on the ground, fortunately. That's why, certainly, they have this red hue... The cellar has existed since the 10th century, around the castle of Chinon. It was Pierre Plouzeau who bought the family estate and who now perpetuates a unique and world-renowned - and often rewarded - know-how (as much for its rich and delicious taste as for its "organic" virtue). Wines that will go wonderfully well with your family meals!
