LA BRASSERIE DU 20
Read moreThe brasserie du 20 is first of all a concept, based on the number 4: the 4 times of the day, for example, breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, or the 4 seasons which, here, are celebrated with dignity. For each of them, a colour code is applied to the sign, to the staff's outfit, and even to the toilet paper! But that's not all. Each season has its own menu and for those who prefer to look at the menu, the latter is also organised around the number 4, offering you the choice between 4 starters, 4 seafood dishes, 4 main courses, 4 main courses, and of course, to finish off, 4 desserts. You will have understood it, in the two halls of this big brewery able to welcome 70 guests, the whole team is ready to treat you.
LE PETIT VOISIN
Read moreIn their charming crèperie at the corner of the two streets, Diffal and his wife Faïza are proud to be Bretons from here! Zoé, a gray in Gabon, welcomes you with the nerve of all parrots, the accordion or the piano tickling your ears. In this street below the cathedral square you will find a map of crèpes and specialities from the Tarn. The red brick room is below. The complete galette (egg, fomage, mushroom, ham) or the cassoulet of the Reyssaguel farm are excellent.
LA TABLE DU SOMMELIER
Read moreWith an explicit name, you will not be surprised to discover here a bistronomic address turned towards nectars. This bistro is nestled in the northern part of the city, on the other side of the bridge of August 22, 1944 and the cathedral of Sainte-Cécile. Daniel Pestre is at the head of a business with a pretty terrace and a gourmet cuisine. Daniel, best sommelier in France in 2004, and his team will help you discover the hidden treasures of the Gaillac vineyard - and elsewhere - with the Domaine d'Escausses, the Enclos des Roses or the Domaine des Terrisse. As for the plates, they are adorned with a thousand flavours and colours, for example: pumpkin and brown tatin with hazelnut caramel, piece of duck breast piqué with pink ginger, trout fillet and steamed prawns, Liège chocolate from the Chef....

HOSTELLERIE DE LA REINE HORTENSE
Read moreThe Hautes-Pyrenees served as a haven for many characters throughout history. Hidden in the Cauterets Valley, Hostellerie de la Reine Hortense bears the name of one of its most famous hosts: in the eighteenth century, the queen of Napoleon and mother of Napoleon III came to take the waters in Cauterets would have slept a night of thunderstorm. In 1941, Basque refugees hidden there and indoors, frescoes testify to the cruelty of the Second World War. Restored in 1973, they add an artistic note to this high-altitude restaurant. The master of the premises, Pierre Duthu, offers a traditional and tasty cuisine that makes the meat a great part of the wood. Coast of beef, lamb, skewers to 4 meat including lomo, duck duck: We love these roasted specialties with fresh potatoes and fungi. Other options such as the excellent house garnish, pickle tomatoes, or the juran trout filet are real delicacies. Pancakes, blueberries or Grand-Marnier or an ice-cold nougat finish a great meal in a warm and warm setting.
