MARCHÉ SAINT-MICHEL
Read moreIn 1755, the Intendant de Tourny decided to establish a branch of the Grand-Marché on the Place du Parlement. It was named the Royal Market. It was then moved to the Quai des Salinières and finally moved to the Place Saint-Michel in 1960. Today, some 160 traders are spread out on the Place du Bourg and on the Quai des Salinières, offering mainly foodstuffs, but also various items for the home, cosmetics, shoes and clothing. Ideal to buy in quantity, because there are often interesting offers.
