Château Pipeau is a red wine of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. The 25-hectare vineyard has been run by the same family since 1929. The four generations that have succeeded each other have transmitted a know-how that makes this wine unique. Today, it is Richard, Brigitte and Jean - lovers of the terroir - who run the wine estate. The family also owns Château Joinin. A favorite of our oenologists during the blind tasting! A funny name, but a great wine, for sure.

Jean-Philippe Ballanger has created the Moon Harbour brand, a 100% Bordeaux whisky: the cereals are grown in the region, the copper stills are made by a local craftsman, and the aging barrels come from nearby châteaux (Sauternes or red wine grands crus). The tour takes in the raw materials storage area, the vat room, the stills and a bunker converted into an ageing cellar. The tour ends with a tasting of the whiskies, rum and gin also distilled on site.

Today, Christophe and Sophie Gouache are the owners of the legendary Château Loudenne, founded in 1670. The first terroir in the Médoc appellation, the vineyard borders the Gironde estuary, and boasts a private port where you can arrive by boat. The services on offer are worthy of the place: tours, tastings, workshops, cruises... The estate covers 132 hectares, including 62 hectares planted with Médoc red, Bordeaux white - the oldest in the Médoc (1880) - and rosé. The vineyard is certified organic in 2022 and HVE level 3 in 2017.

Located in the Margaux area, between sea and estuary, Château La Galiane has been a family estate for five generations. This 5-hectare estate is made up of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The Renon family, who also manage Château Charmant, are passionate about showing you every aspect of this family-run vineyard. A traditional culture that favors organic fertilizers, reasoned weeding and manual harvesting. A warm welcome in the heart of these vines, some of which are over a hundred years old.

Cathy takes over from 7 generations of winegrowers on this estate created in 1850 by a village blacksmith. Passionate and determined, she strives to give her wine a feminine and very personal touch (it is the only vat room in the region painted in pink!). The meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar allows, vintage after vintage, to express magnificently the flavors and the values of this exceptional terroir. In the heart of the property, the château has opened its own guest rooms for 2 to 4 people and a loft "Chai Paulette" for 6 to 10 people.

Formerly owned by the Prince Noir, the estate underwent a facelift in 2010, when the cellars were rebuilt. This Grand Cru Classé is owned by the Boidron family, who began making wine in 1760, following the rhythm of nature. No herbicides are used here, the grapes are harvested by hand. Only batches of perfect quality are bottled at the Château. The wine is kept in an underground cellar. The awards and medals won are the result of this quality of work. The Boidron family is at the cutting edge of new technologies: a visit is a must!

Gathered around the hillside of Calon overlooking the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Calon produces a Montagne Saint-Emilion several times medalist. In addition, there are other wines, the Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion, a Saint-Emilion grand cru classé and a Pomerol. Various vintages are available since 1988. Nearby, do not forget to contemplate the two windmills of the XVth century entirely restored, from where one benefits from a splendid panoramic sight. The site of a rare beauty is also a place of takeoff of hot-air balloons.

Château de Pressac, located in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse, is a winery that welcomes around 10,000 visitors every year. Visitors have the opportunity to discover the magnificent panoramas and the heritage of centuries, as well as the art of vine and wine. The château has received several awards, including the Best Of du Tourisme Silver in 2006 in the "Parks, Gardens and Landscapes" category, the Best Of du Tourisme Gold in 2007 for its architecture, and the Best Of Wine in 2014 in the "Architecture and Landscapes" category. Visits are by appointment only. The boutique offers wines from the estate as well as a selection of wine-related items. In 2020, strict sanitary measures are in place, including the use of hydroalcoholic gel, compulsory masks and social distancing. The château also offers special tours and tastings, as well as buffet tours. Space can also be rented for business events.

Château Haut-Brisson is an 18-hectare wine estate in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, located in the south of the appellation. The vineyard benefits from a diversity of soils and terroirs, producing quality wines. The grape varieties are mainly Merlot and around 10% Cabernet Franc. Visits and tastings (three wines with a cheese & charcuterie slate) are an opportunity to discover the viticultural and winemaking practices implemented at this estate, which has been committed to an environmental approach for many years.

A family estate since 1854, Château Penin comes from a highly localized gravel terroir, forcing the vines to dig deep for their resources. The result? Highly concentrated, mature grapes. The Natur cuvées, vinified and preserved without the addition of sulfur, are a benchmark. The estate's wines have won numerous medals. The Union de la Sommellerie Internationale describes Château La Fleur Penin 2015, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, as "grand art" and "haute couture". Visits by appointment only.
