Born at the end of 2022, Maison Gramont is a small delicatessen and tea room where Inès welcomes you with her big smile! You can taste or buy loose French tea (a nice selection for all tastes), enjoy a coffee roasted in Bayonne, indulge yourself with a piece of cake while admiring the breathtaking view of the castle of Pau or discover a small wine library with a selection of French wines. Nestled under the arcades of the Place Gramont - a place that is well worth a visit - this house of the same name is worth a stop and a chat with Inès!

Some are full-bodied, some are fruity, some are spicy, but all have a personal character that can only be described as authentic. They are the coffees, of course, and from the ochre lands of Ethiopia to the sun of Costa Rica, the best vintages have made the trip to Orthez to wait for you in a coffee house that has been magnifying them since 1950! All made of wood, it has an exquisite charm and we love the counter where old-fashioned scales take pride of place. Sophie will advise you with kindness and will make you discover all the nuances. Since 2014, the L'Alchimiste roasting workshop has been based on the right bank in Darwin, and is a delight for all the city's "caffeinophiles". The great vintages of coffee produced here can be discovered and tasted in the café-boutique set up next to the Intendance, where people come to enjoy a delicious coffee (espresso, cortado, cappuccino, filter coffee...) accompanied by a little sweetness... The little sister of La Brûlerie in Marmande has a sparkling decoration to highlight the specialities of Jean-Luc Escos. After having worked at Hédiard and Fauchon in Paris to train his palate, he now offers a wide range of teas and coffees from all over the world roasted on site. Mélanie Badets, an agricultural engineer with a fine nose and palate, has taken over Cafés Tchanqué - named after the famous tchanqué huts - and given them the name Tchanqué Gourmet. She, too, knows a thing or two about coffee and roasting. Her coffees come from the mountains of India, Africa and Latin America. She selects them with care, giving preference to small producers who are passionate about their craft. The Cafés Tchanqués, Cabane 53 -in reference to the Arcachon Basin- and Empreinte (organic coffees) collections are available in 200 gram to 1 kg bags and capsules.

At Daniel Teixeira, there is a pause for lunch on the thumb with a sandwich, salad, salted or sweet pies and even pasta. La Fabrique à Desserts is a tea room that delights you with traditional or signature fine pastries (some are gluten-free).
