Whether you're an experienced motorcycle enthusiast or an amateur, the truth is well known in the Cévennes, particularly in the Aigoual massif: mountain biking is king, especially in Valleraugue where "Base VTT Explosion" is located. For the past 15 years, this base has offered packages to suit all levels, whether you're a beginner, amateur or professional. Services include à la carte rentals, topo-guides, technical and logistical assistance, downhill formulas and raid organization.

Bowls, a pyramid, several transfers: skateboarding fans will know what it's all about and will have a blast. This large open-air concrete skatepark is accessible at all hours of the day and night, but is not lit, limiting the hours of practice. The scenery, between vineyards and hills, is grand enough to indulge in the pleasures of sliding. The scooter, BMX, rollerblade and mountain bike enthusiasts can also enjoy it. For safe sports, remember to wear a helmet.

Starting from the quai de la Vène, the short hike - indicated by yellow markers - takes you around the Garrigue Plane, above the Agas sheepfold and in a 360° panorama on the windmills. The itinerary goes through the kermes oaks, which cover the foothills of the Aumelas plateau, and leads to a point of view on the blue waters of the Thau pond. The level of difficulty is average, it takes 4 hours of walking for 12 km and 160 m of ascent.

The Skatepark de Nîmes is located in the Périmètre and Boules stadium of Estanque in May 2007. On a surface of 1 160 m ², the spot is very orienté. It has inclined planes, metal edges, different modules, straight square or sloping square rails, which are practical à. The pros regret the absence of a bowl, the lack of beautiful curves, the pyramid too small and the ledge in low descent. This French fishing guide in Lozere takes you fishing on the west coast of the United States, in the Rocky Mountains: Montana (Missouri, Madison, Gallatin…), Ihado (Henry's Fork, East Fork, Big Lost River, Big Wood…), Utah (Strawberry, Northern, Current…). Your stay is at least 15 days and takes place in July and August. You are housed in camping or motel. You fish the fly almost always on gobage or in nymph in view. A unique experience and a nice gift to make.

This does not invent, a name such as a fishing guide! Yannick River, member of France's fly fishing team, a world-class champion in 2009, is a fishing guide approved by the French Lancer Fly Fishing Federation (FFPML). Yannick takes you fishing in Cathar country and elsewhere. Amateurs follow in freshwater (fly, predators), but also kayaking in brackish water ponds in the search for wolves, and even initiate with him the rockfishing, a popular sea fishing technique in Japan with soft lures adapted to rock fish (gobis, blenis…) that make inshore fishing very sporty!

Everywhere, you can combine the art of fishing with the discovery of a variety of sparklingly beautiful landscapes: the Pays de Sault, the Razès, the Lauraguais, the Montagne Noire and the Narbonnais. From Narbonne to Castelnaudary, the Canal du Midi, its diversions and ancillary waterways offer great fishing spots. The Aude fishing federation groups together 26 AAPPMAs.

A large natural area and mountains undoubtedly imply that there is what is needed to delight amateur sports enthusiasts. The Cevennes is a place of hiking and mountain biking. The Bed and Breakfast Hotel Les Cessenades proposes to stay in full Cévenne while walking through this mountain on hiking or cycling. Two old farm bodies overlooking a common courtyard are located in front of a river where summer days are refreshed. Thick walls, red windows and ceilings with exposed beams, the hotel is typically cevenol. On the sports and nature side, the hotel proposes to rent atvs (15 € per day). This is a boutique that is now essential for fishing lovers. Rudy and Loïc are passionate about sea fishing, but also very sharp on the river and trout. In their store, sorted by category, cannes, reels, leures and other landing cottoient, clothing and storage boxes. The store does not always, because many fishermen are looking for live baits or renewing their fishing cards, which are the agents of the French Federation of Fisheries, with the photo for the licence taken directly. The Comité Spéléologique Départemental des Pyrénées-Orientales is an organization offering caving activities in the town of Fontrabiouse. The committee's website, www.cds66.fr, can also provide further information.

When it comes to accommodation, there are several options available in Le Rozier, a small village located at the confluence of the Tarn and Jonte gorges. You can choose from municipal campsites, such as Camping Municipal, Camping Brudy and Camping Les Peupliers. There are also hotels available, such as Hôtel Doussière, Hôtel de la Muse et du Rozier and Grand Hôtel Des Voyageurs. For catering, there's a food truck on site, as well as restaurants in the village. There will also be events such as conferences, exhibitions and musical performances.

Close to the motorway exit, the Montpellier Baillargues Squash Club offers 3 courses with concrete wall. It is possible to rent a course to hit a few balls between friends or register at the squash school. It has a first leisure objective, but for students who wish it, it offers the opportunity to participate in various league and national competitions. The courses are open to children between the ages of 8 and 16 and take place on Wednesday afternoon and the morning for smaller ones, a mini tournament is organised every Friday. The club also has cardiovascular machines, sauna and bar.

Montpeyroux is a small winegrowing village at the foot of the Larzac plateaux. Among its inhabitants is Patrick Brunet, a caving enthusiast who has devoted over 30 years of his life to this activity. A former president of the Hérault departmental caving committee and the Montpeyroux caving group, he is now enjoying his retirement, exploring underground caves several days a week. For him, caving is a revelation, a way of exploring a museum of nature and preserving this fragile heritage. He stresses, however, that the underground world is in danger, not least because of mass tourism and the lack of respect for safety regulations. Patrick Brunet also sees himself as a whistle-blower, particularly when it comes to protecting bats. He shares his knowledge and experience with many groups, including children from the Montpeyroux after-school program.

The Spéléo-Club de l'Aude is a caving club based in Alet-les-Bains. Affiliated with the Fédération Française de Spéléologie, it is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of the Environment. The club offers underground explorations and invites visitors to follow their adventures on their blog. The club is supported by several sponsors, including Cousin-Trestec, Aventure Verticale, Raumer, Peguet and Point Energie 31. The next National Caving Days will take place on the first weekend of October 2022. The club is twinned with Spéléo Club Alpin La Cordée in Mouscron, Belgium.

The Spéléo-Club des Garrotxes is a caving club based in Ayguatébia-Talau.

The Gard region is highly suitable for caving, and while the SCSP may not have won any medals, it has a fine roster of enthusiasts ready to share this sport with the greatest respect for an infinitely fragile environment. Equipment is supplied by the club, and introductory sessions are organized on request. The association also brings together geology, prehistory, via ferrata and canyoning enthusiasts, many of whom also enjoy photography.

The Atelier La lame de la vallée dorée-couteau Le Vernissé is the place to be for lovers of top-of-the-range, handcrafted knives. Marcel Canals, the creator, designs and manufactures the famous "Le Vernissé" knife, entirely in France. The workshop offers a wide range of handle materials, including natural wood, fruitwood and even exotic woods. Visitors can also discover Marcel's latest creations, including the new "Le Vernissé-le-Rustique" knife. For those wishing to learn how to make their own knife, the workshop offers a two-day training course. The workshop has its own parking lot and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Adventure is adventure and horseback riding, it makes sense. A weekend or a week to discover the wild Cathar country, through trails and trails in unspoilt nature, panoramic landscapes, at the pace of the Arab half-blood, Spanish horses, or children's ponies. So why, during your holidays, don't you take the opportunity to visit the écurie des Dunes and discover a typical equestrian centre of the region.

Magnificent horses to accompany you on rides between beach and marsh! In addition to its year-round riding school and pony club activities, the center offers rides of 30 minutes to 2 hours, to discover the fauna and flora of the Camargue. An equestrian getaway in contact with nature. If you're an experienced rider, prefer spring or autumn, when you'll enjoy more challenging rides, in the rebirth of nature or in the tawny colors of the late season. Jean and Mathieu have just settled and offer climbing, canyoning and via ferrata courses in the Carroux massif, but also in the Cevennes. Treat yourself to fresh water, air and beautiful countryside on the day or half day. Beautiful sensations through climbing paths between 100 and 300 m, and confirmed guides will accompany you to allow you to overcome difficulties under better conditions.

On foot or by bike, you will ride along the Rhône on a sandy track without too much of a difference in altitude, as far as the abbey of Saint-Roman. It is already planned that in a few years' time, this Green Way will be extended to the Pont du Gard; it will then measure 18 kilometres, this cycle route linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. But don't worry, this will give you time to improve your skills!

In the mountains, the small village of Prats-de-Mollo offers a thousand years of history to discover. Browse the ramparts to atteintre the castle's cannons, take the underground passages to access the best hidden clues, and this small village with Hispanic sonorité will have no secrets for you! Only atvs are allowed on this trail, and all cyclists are forced to ride in the same direction, assuring you safety and serenity if you are accompanied by children. At the beginning of the Oustalet area, close to the pony-club, the loop evolves on a wooded road sheltered from the wind. A few descents are your journey, for the delight of the youngest and least trained. As for those who were waiting for the right place to stop, you will find it when you face the Eye of the Eye panel: a few hundred metres to walk, and you will be there!

To speak of the "Battle of Le Boulou" would be a little bit wrong since the site actually saw two battles, one in 1793 and the other in 1794. Both occurred during the Roussillon War, during the wars of the French Revolution of the First Coalition. That's it for the few introductory words; for the rest, refer to the 18 explanatory panels that mark out the route, they will allow everyone to understand the history of the place.

Set off on a relatively easy 6.1 km hike. The route follows the ridge between the Hérault and Rieutord valleys. Start at Sumène in the Gard department. From Avenue de la Gare, head for Cap de Coste via Pont-Grand. Le Serre will soon be signposted, so keep following the signs. You'll eventually reach your starting point via Rue du Coin, then cross Pont-Grand again.

Come and meet the Lord of lozériennes forests: chestnut. At the beginning of Molezon, this easy 2,5 kilometre trail evolves in full nature between streams, forest, terraces and stone walls. At the end of the journey you can reach a restored mas in which you can enjoy a 40-minute audio show from mid-June to mid-September on the oral memory of the French Valley. However, if you can, we particularly recommend this walk in the autumn: The colours are of all beauty, and you can enjoy a few chestnuts and mushrooms!

You are over 1000 metres above sea level: the ideal way to spend the fresh mountain air i! Located in the Causse de Mende, this health course has 20 stations, each with an explanatory panel to familiarize you with physical exercise. Thus, before you get involved, take the time to understand the effects of each movement on your organization. In the middle of the countryside, you are surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Enjoy the pleasures of sports and sightseeing!

Follow a charming itinerary, suitable for all walkers, with no major difficulties. Stretching over just 1.5 km, this walk invites you to explore the key points of interest in Florac, the capital of the Cévennes National Park. Guided by the murmur of the Pêcher spring, you'll visit not only the château, but also sites such as the Saint-Martin church, the former convent, the Vibron and the ferradou. Departing from the Tourist Office, the route is punctuated by 12 numbered interpretation markers.

Top start at the spa resort of Bagnols-les-Bains. This hike of some 8 kilometres will lead you first to the village of Saint-Julien-du-Tournel, where the loop begins to take you to the awaited castle of the Tournel. The trail is easy and pleasant, it evolves along the Lot valley. Do you have any doubt about your itinerary? You can rely on green markup, you can't lose!

It is the trail No. 15 of the Guide Guide Trail and its surrounding area (reference P 481). At the beginning of the sport of the sportif of the Causse de Mende, this pédestre loop brings you back to the pastoral life of the last century. As you go down, on a quiet and without difficulty path, you cross the dead villages of Gerbal and Chaumette. Always follow the pine apple of the NFB markup: you will return to your starting point after two hours of walking.

As its name suggests, this Véloroute runs along the beaches, and is only accessible by bike. Too bad for pedestrians, who will have to find another option. Built as part of a larger project that will later link Le Barcarès to Argelès-Plage, its 13 kilometers provide a pleasant opportunity for training between Le Barcarès and Canet-Plage. Made up of 70% Voie Verte, most of the track runs along the RD 81.

It's a walk like they love, which leads us to discover the natural heritage of the region by giving us, of course, some explanations about local flora. At the time of the 1,6 km course, the trail climbs up the hill to reach its peak, the television relay located near the hermitage. From here, the panoramic view lends itself to an extended stop: take the time to contemplate it. But if the spectacle is grandiose, let us not forget that of the cross-cutting vegetation: depending on soil orientation, it changes considerably!

From land to sea, from vineyards to marshes, from bulls to horses, the voie verte lets you concentrate on the landscapes around you! Easy and level, it follows the Bas-Rhône-Languedoc canal for 7 kilometers. Today, this short trail is part of the "Camargue Gardoise Discovery Loop", a 17-kilometer itinerary that can be explored on foot or by bike along quiet country roads.

Families, this walk is for you and your children: short, easy and fast, it is accessible from five years old! In Congénies, leave the Fort district and head towards the Chemin creux via the rue du Temple. Soon you will see the signpost for the start of the "Garrigue Gourmande" circuit; this route is not yours but the first part of it is common to it: follow the yellow markings.

This green trail links Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues with the south of Alès. Starting at the Pôle Mécanique crossroads, it crosses the town along the Gardon, taking you over a distance of just 7 kilometers to the 18-Juin-1940 commemorative bridge. The smooth surface is perfect for rollerblading and skateboarding, and whatever your preferred sport, you'll be able to progress in complete safety thanks to the concrete edges.

A leisure area for multiple sensations! Argelès Aventure is a forest acrobatic park where you can evolve safely in aerial games. Looking for a more refreshing experience? Go to the canyoning park and discover its unique concept in the world: sensations of a natural canyon, with maximum safety or at the super Drop In, water slides. For the more daring, there is the "Extreme Tower" for jumps into the void of 8, 11 or 28 m!

There are plenty of bike hire companies on the coast, but we chose Sea Bike and Sun for 3 reasons: Fabien is located in the Mar Estang campsite, just a stone's throw (literally) from the cycle path that runs along the coast and along the ponds. The offer is vast and the service is very professional: from mountain bikes to electric bikes, trailers or cargo bikes, Fabien has everything to seduce you. Finally, inexhaustible on the region and ideas for excursions, he will be able to advise you, guide you and share his little secrets of rides.

30 km north of Uzès, the hill of Gressac overlooks the Cèze valley which flows at its feet. The Gressac estate covers 115 hectares in the Natura 2000 protected area and is one of the oldest organic wine estates in France still in operation. The Cèze river flows at the foot of the domain. The domain of Gressac is also a breeding of pure Spanish breed. The horses are born and raised in freedom and in a herd on about twenty hectares of meadow and shaded forests. They live according to the seasons, feeding mainly on fat grass, hay and organic alfalfa. The well-being of the mothers and their foals is paramount for a harmonious growth. Living outdoors does not prevent daily contact with humans. The foals are approached and handled at a very young age, which allows strong bonds to be forged and avoids that man is a stress factor, but rather a pleasure based on sharing.

The Eurovélo 8, or Mediterranean cycle route, which links Cadiz to Athens, i.e. 5,388 km, and Pirinexus, the cross-border cycle touring loop between Southern Catalonia and Northern Catalonia, i.e. 353 km, meet in Le Boulou. We strongly advise you to get the guide book in order to make the most of the richness of the Catalan country. You will find, at the Tourist Office of Le Boulou, the Voie Verte cycling guide as well as all the good addresses where you can taste the local products and of course where to stay along your route.

For decades, this structure has been breeding horses and ponies that it rents out to riders, with a loyal clientele that has followed it from the beginning. Whatever the duration chosen (by the hour, by the day, by the week or even longer), the prices are very soft, and the horses are used to the outdoors. But beware, you will not have an instructor or a companion: the horses are therefore reserved for riders who are already experienced! Perfect for a horse ride in the heart of the Margeride. Reservation is compulsory.

Attention anglers and nature lovers: a pond on the D135, in the commune of Vestric-et-Candiac, welcomes you every day. Tables, benches and barbecues are available under the shade of the trees lining the pond. You may well catch trout, carp, pike and zander, although the number of fish is limited to five per angler. Bait is sold on site. It's a great way to share a moment with fellow anglers, or simply with the family and the kids.

In the Pyrenees-Orientales, the great West is the Capcir. Claire, Yves and their son will take you on horseback through the great wild spaces during one day or more rides with bivouac in the nature or night in a gîte. On the menu: discovery of the Garrotxes, tour of Carlit, stag bellowing, Bouillouses lake... The horses raised in large parks in semi-freedom transhume twice a year on the mountain paths, since their youngest age, to connect the summer pastures in altitude and those of winter in the scrublands of Fenouillèdes.
