AU BUREAU

Bistro and brasserie €€
2.9/5
30 reviews

For once the Bureau is not moving backwards… Franck'has been managing the bar for four years. In this brasserie in the very beautiful décor, many atmospheres blend. Professional customers in the week and during the day, place of exit for a part of youth "in the evening, and family on weekends, there are for all ages. On the map, calf's paupiette in the county, beans and leeks, or grilled ham, rice and piperade. The office also has a wide selection of wines and a wide range of beers. A brasserie without prétention, frills and like you love them. Please do not confuse this place with the old "At the Office", which is now a concert pub called the "London Tavernel".

LE CHAUDRON

Pub
4.8/5
4 reviews

In the afternoon, comfortably installed in sofas and armchairs, we come to drink tea, coffee or mulled wine. Afterwards, you can enjoy typical dishes and until very late you can taste craft beers from North and South Catalonia, and discover the "archaeological" wines elaborated by J-M according to recipes written in the 14th century by Arnaud de Villeneuve, doctor and alchemist. Every Saturday, the evenings are enlivened by concerts, and other unmissable events such as the free scene jams on thefirst Thursday of the month.

THE CELT

Pub
4.7/5
3 reviews

The Celt is an Irish pub in the purest tradition! As you can imagine, you will find a large choice of beers: 40 varieties in bottles and 8 in draught! From whiskey, Irish of course, to cider and the famous Irish Coffee and even tea. The Franco-Irish owners have had the idea of creating themed evenings: darts games, TV sports, concerts or once a month theopen mic, which will make you sing a song, tell a joke...

LE REBUFFY PUB

Pub
4.2/5
6 reviews

Here's a special address, well known to Montpellier locals. We don't come here for the decor, nor for the quality of the beers - which are nothing exceptional for a pub, even if the wooded setting and the music are pleasant - but for its legendary conviviality! On the large terrace off rue Foch, conversations flow as the hours go by, and contacts are easily made. Taciturns and snobs beware! You can also find company around the games the pub lends out. For those allergic to the atmosphere of Place Jean-Jaurès, the Rebuffy is the exact opposite. Elephants, the address's mascots, have invaded the pub. Special mention for the monstrous elephant-shaped teapots, which could be brought to you if you order a tea!

O'FLAHERTY'S

Pub
4/5
5 reviews

Place of relaxation where you can play darts, drink, eat, discuss and meet people while listening to good sound, from Thursday to Saturday it's with DJ or live bands, the whole in an atmosphere which mixes the ages in all friendliness, and everyone behaves well. Let's stay in the tempo, on Friday evening it's fish and chips by the portion and chicken and chips the other days. In any season, we stay outside where the barrels acting as eats-debout are numerous, the more frigid will choose the inside.

LE CIRCUS

Pub
3.8/5
6 reviews

This pub within walking distance of place Jean-Jaurès looks after the decor. A long zinc, small salons lounge cut off from the rest of the bar, leather sofas: Annie and her brothers wanted to give it a New York soul. Red billiard tables and decorative elements based on the circus theme complete the picture. The sound atmosphere is very pleasant, with a trendy playlist of current music while remaining original. The bar of 250 m², very lively from Thursday to Saturday evening, attracts a large number of Erasmus students and Montpellier partygoers. You will need to push your way through the crowd to reach the bar and don't expect to find a place on a sofa. On weekdays, the atmosphere is different, cosy, and the music is not too loud, which allows you to have discussions without screaming (quite pleasant because it is less and less common!) On the other hand, whether you are in group or alone, the service is always desperately slow. Possibility to book lounges.

O’SHANNON

Pub
4/5
3 reviews

O'Shannon is the first and oldest pub in the city. The atmosphere is very British and friendly, just like on Clover Island! The decoration and the small alcoves remind once again the spirit of the pubs. Concerts, special evenings during sporting events (football and rugby), cocktails and pub food (burgers, sandwiches, chips) are there to make you have a great time. Hydration being essential to all, we will appreciate the care taken in the choice of beers and whiskies. A real institution in Perpignan!

IRISH DE NIMES

Pub
3/5
1 review

Located near the Kinepolis, this pub-restaurant remains open until 1 a. m. and serves as a table until p. m. The Irish Corner of Nîmes is behaving like a real Irish pub with inside, coated woodwork and thick carpet on the ground, beer and fish & chips - finally here we will say paved salmon with plancha and fries! Some nights, it's football or rugby, for the retransmission of memorable matches. Supporters come as a group in this pub to vibrate or cry together in unison of their team, eyes stretched on the giant screen. The rousse or brown beer flows. On weekends, free concert programming, especially pop-rock, is announced on the website. In short, something often happens at the Irish Corner.

O’FLAHERTY’S

Pub

Quite canonical in its total wooden look, its imperturbable staff behind the counter, its famous coasters, pool tables and darts, O'Flaherty's is indeed the most Irish pub in the heart of Nîmes! The pub, which boasts one of the best whisky lists in town, also offers a wide selection of draught beers. In short, a pub where life is good, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. On the food side, there are platters to share. Don't miss the concerts on Thursday and Saturday (Celtic music, jazz, pop, rock).

O' CARACOL PUB

Pub

Part diner, part pub, this is the place in Saint-Chély where the young and not-so-young get their rocks off on theme nights, concert evenings or soccer nights. Faux red brick walls, table soccer and barrels in the reception area give the place a certain character. A tiny menu of nibbles, Catalan platters and fuet, allows you to fill your stomach while sipping a pint. Several draught beers and a dozen bottled beers are on the menu of this friendly establishment, making for an excellent evening!
