This new restaurant and cocktail bar with its original setting inspired by the Paris of the Roaring Twenties quickly caught our eye. Gone are the traditional tapas, replaced by a cuisine inspired by the South and steeped in Parisian life. On paper, it doesn't look like much, but in the mouth, we love it. The place is really worth the detour, the atmosphere is fresh without being immature. It's an ideal place for aperitifs with friends, afterwork parties and so on. The team is young and full of ideas. Special mention for the selection of local wines and the presentation of the dishes.

Foryoung and old, the Théâtre de Poche is an eclectic and dynamic place, which presents a multitude of shows: puppets, theater, storytelling, humor, musical cabaret, concert... You can come with your family to enjoy a creative interlude, to see an exhibition, and you can even participate in theatrical workshops. It is a space full of charm, which will amaze and make laugh the public of any age. Please note that the Théâtre de Poche is very small, so it is important to make reservations.

During the day, before a tanning session, a swim or in the evening after having tasted some shells or a fleshy fish in the restaurant, why not meet under the big shark at the entrance to go and have a drink at Biquet? Feet in the sand, the horizon, the sea, festive and pleasant music, the perfect setting to enjoy a mojito with red fruits, basil but also the classic mint and lime, or a glass of local wine. The waiters do their utmost to be efficient, even in the middle of summer! A small subsidised theatre behind the Carré d'Art which programs the creation of professional and amateur troops, readings of contes tales, modern clowns. On the weekend, musical evenings show authors, composers and cabaret artists, but the particularity of Télémac is its awareness of theatrical play. Thus, speakers animate workshops for children, adolescents, adults and offer various modules of playful excercices, to assert themselves thanks to oral and body expression. Groups made up of a dozen participants will thus discover the foundations of the profession of actor: work on voice, improvisation, space, body and learning text… An educational dimension in the form of internships or collective courses that make theatre year round.

In a charming cobbled street, under a garland of lights, a pretty terrace lined with olive trees attracts us. Then we settle down in this friendly atmosphere to relax around a table that is filled with tasty local products. In the glasses, we toast with carefully selected local wines. We share a board generously garnished with cold cuts and cheeses, we crunch in some toast, we enjoy a live concert or a karaoke night. The welcome is very pleasant, just like this high quality aperitif.

On the roof of the refined Hôtel Impérial *** are hidden its bar and its panoramic terrace which offers a splendid view. L'Antre de l'Echoppe - both factory and beer tavern - is an atypical place. Renaud and Céline welcome you with conviviality and love of a job well done! The Cabaret Equestre de Camargue transports you to a world of freedom and poetry, offering a unique experience combining dance, horseback riding and music. Montpellier remains France's second-largest gay city after Paris, and boasts several gay-only establishments. Le Coxx, located in the heart of the city near Place Saint-Roch, is the oldest. At the tea factory, you can enjoy home-made pastries, nibble a cookie or a muffin, sip a lemonade, enjoy the fresh and gourmet menu, share a brunch served continuously. You can also come and fill up on tea or coffee for the house, and take away some sweets.

La Métairie is the place to be if you want to watch the sun set over the medieval town. This panoramic bar, high above the town, will delight your taste buds and your eyes, every evening of the week. The concept is simple: a cosy lounge bar, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail with a bite to eat. The afterwork version is open all year round for a moment of relaxation. The view of the Cité, the wood-fired pizzas, the guest chefs on certain dates... We love coming back to La Métairie!

A very nice address, as the Petit Futé likes them. A charming restaurant, crêperie/tea room, almost "intimate", run by 2 lovely women. Valérie and Marie are passionate about their work, they have given the Font Café a new look with their creations which are for sale... We strongly encourage you to enjoy the magnificent view from the terrace overlooking the valley. A tea, a cappuccino, a crêpe or delicious tapas of ham and cheese for a relaxing break, one of those little things that gives you great happiness.

When you come to Carcassonne, you visit the medieval City, but you also go down to the city to enjoy the charm and friendliness of the Place Carnot (very lively on market days). Petit Moka is the perfect place to take the time, the opportunity to take a small coffee, a tea or if the lunch break approaches to enjoy a simple and good kitchen (see restaurant section). In the afternoon, the terrace is taken by young moms who come with their small blonde heads to taste an ice or a small crepe. At Petit Moka you can also buy your coffee in grain or ground at the time, "Brazil" is our favorite. An address or a good mood is all year round!

A charming tea room located in a pretty patio next to the new Rigaud museum. Teas on the menu, green, red, white, black, smoked or iced with subtle blends whose compositions I will not mention. If you prefer a coffee, don't worry, it would take too long to mention everything. You prefer chocolate, and how do you like it? Viennese, Liégeois, hot with spices or iced? In two words, P'tit Mailly is a pleasant place for a little break in the middle of the books available to customers.

A former wine storehouse, this theater has 150 seats and hosts various shows: plays, concerts, readings, performances...which end with meetings with the artists in the adjoining Cantine, over a glass of wine or a good soup. This beautiful cultural and poetic space in the middle of the countryside also welcomes school children, and Michèle, who is also a director, leads workshops. Pierre, who is a scenographer, is in charge of the stage management and the scenery.

Le Lézard, located a stone's throw from the Musée de la Musique, is an associative café offering a wide range of activities. As a member, you can simply have a drink or take part in one of the workshops offered: theatre, oenology, philosophy, knitting, singing, knowledge sharing, games, music... All drinks are organic and local. It is THE place for meetings and exchanges, we come there mainly to meet other people at the beginning and then to participate in workshops and/or festive evenings. A nice "alternative and militant" touch.

A drinking restaurant: that's how you could define this little nugget in the rue des Cardeurs, a pedestrian street in the old part of Perpignan, known by the local gourmets. The place is intimate, very cosy and minimalist, a bit like the owners, and above all what you find on the plate and in the glass: fresh and local high quality! The emphasis is on the origin and quality of the products. Everything is fine and delicious, charming and original. The ideal place to enjoy a good glass of wine with some crazy tapas on a quiet terrace.

Chez Mémé has become the must-see tavern in Castelnou. We don't know if it's a restaurant, a wine bar or a tapas bar, but one thing is for sure, the place and the atmosphere have a "let's go back there quickly" feel. An address that we liked to taste in the dining room or on the large terrace craft beers or local wines with friends. In this small, typical family house, Emeline offers various Catalan dishes: pan con tomate with Serrano ham, her famous patatas bravas or the unmissable Cerdanya cheeses.

On the avenue of the campings, once passed the entrance of the case with rum, one is transported in the islands. The setting is exceptional, the terrace is a green setting with a bamboo lounge that stretches out its arms for us to settle down. Here, a hammock is a sight to behold, and there, comfortable cushions are installed on a bench. In this Creole address in the exotic garden, we come to share ti mangé (Creole tapas), insects, ice creams, cocktails...

This address is both a bar and a microbrewery, nestled under beautiful vaulted ceilings. Cool design, jazzy music and an intimate yet friendly atmosphere attract many visitors. Behind the bar, you can admire the imposing fermentation tanks that sit proudly here. Jean-Philippe brews twice a week and offers an extensive menu of different hop flavors. Herbaceous, fruity, resinous, peppery... There's something for every taste, and of course you can always ask for advice. With its foam, you can share a little cheese and other tapas.

Formerly known as Les Halles Baltard, the Pavillon de la Culture et du Patrimoine building, a harmonious blend of stone, glass and steel, has undergone an impressive metamorphosis. This emblematic 1912 building has been completely renovated, and now offers a wide range of activities throughout the year: exhibitions, shows, theater and concerts. With a rich and varied cultural program that can be consulted online, the Pavillon promises memorable moments for the whole family.

Welcome to one of the oldest districts of Perpignan. Welcome to the Divine Comedy, a former convent where today they serve you asses! The speciality of the house. These "shots" which are mixtures of fruit and alcohol and are drunk ass-up send you straight to hell. The Perpignanese between 25 and 40 years old love this concept and take over Miguel's bar every weekend. Exposed stone, cayroux and subdued lighting: we love it. As for the atmosphere, "it depends on the evening, something between rock, funk and soul", says the owner.

Hadrian has taken over the Canard Bleu, the Carcassonne epicurean and aesthete's den, set up a few years ago by the traveler chef Robert Haumont. Since then, the place has been called the aptly named Tasting Room, to get away from the crowds of the city center. Don't talk to him about his famous American origins because our international wine merchant likes to remain discreet. He prefers to emphasize his Italian side, which he has well represented in his cellar with wines that make you travel. You can also find local wines and "fatto in Italia" pizzas.

L'Apothicaire is the ideal place to spend a good evening with friends, to taste delicious wines, to feast on aperitif boards made of fine charcuteries or rare cheeses and to learn a lot of things about the world of good food. Fred, the owner, is not shy and likes to talk about his products and tell you anecdotes. He defines himself as a "taste buds dresser". On the terrace and in the calm of the pedestrian street or in one of the two rooms with their refined decoration which brilliantly combine old and modern, we simply love it!

Au Fut distinguishes itself from other bars by its "you're the bartender" concept: take a drink, put your card in front of one of the pumps installed on each table and serve yourself, according to your desires and new meetings. Regularly, new craft beers are put forward, accompanied by planks of cold cuts or cheese. It is also the ideal place for the retransmission of football or rugby matches on a giant screen. Le Carcanet is a bar and crêperie with a simple and "woody" decoration, like a mountain inn. People from the village come here as much as tourists to taste pancakes or dishes, to drink local beers and especially to enjoy the most beautiful terrace of Formiguères: a series of tables overlooking the stream. The magical sound of the water running over the polished granite or lulling our ears... A mountain village without these sounds is no longer a mountain village, and Formiguères is lucky, because the river Aude flows through it.

In the heart of the city, on the Place de la République, Le Vin Te Deux is ideally located under the arcades. Meet friends and share their delicious homemade tapas. Taste with them the local wines, blanquettes or local specialties. Discover the organic Crème Religieuse with mint, lemon or tangerine, made with wine alcohol and real peel. A must to add to your cocktails a touch of the Limoux region. A very popular place, it is better to reserve, especially for the wine and music evenings.

This art house cinema offers a program for young audiences and films for all audiences. Throughout the year, the place is animated by various events promoting access to the cinema for all: toddlers, schoolchildren, seniors, deaf and hard of hearing people... The Cinémistral is located in a beautiful house with a garden in the center of Frontignan. The establishment has 140 seats and is a dynamic, friendly, cultural place where it is good to go with family, friends, or solo. We take part in evening debates, we meet each other.

Le Cratère, located in the heart of the city, is Alès' largest concert hall, seating 800. Comedians, concerts, plays, dance, screenings during the film festival... As a national stage, the Cratère hosts top-notch contemporary French and European shows, and also gives pride of place to local artists. The institution also presents Cratère Espace, an itinerant program covering 23 towns in the region, and has created Cratère Surface, a street art festival that is a must-see in June.
