Auvergne Loisirs offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Its base is located on the banks of the Allier, and welcomes adventurers fond of canoeing or kayaking. The establishment also offers canyoning near Lake Chambon and paintball in Lempdes. From spring on, you can rent equipment for a day, half-day or several days. Supervised or free, these disciplines are for everyone, from novices to thrill seekers. Multi-activity or whitewater packages are prepared for specific requests.

The sailing base welcomes you on the Cheylé peninsula. It is possible to rent equipment on the spot for sailing or canoeing on the Garabit-Grandval lake (1,100 ha) nestled in the Truyère gorges. Here, there are no engines reserved for the nautical base of Garabit a few kilometres further upstream. The instructors will be happy to train you on one of the many courses. It is also a nice place to spend a pleasant time by the water and enjoy the animations in summer. The bar offers drinks, ice creams and sandwiches.

Located in the middle of a green park, the aquatic center offers a pleasant outdoor setting! Its equipment is quite adequate, with two outdoor pools, a paddling pool and a waterslide to swim but also to have fun. And nothing like it to relax after a walk in the mountains in the heat! It only closes at 7pm. Children can also have free access to the park's games. Groups are accepted. Swimming lessons are available. It's a great place for kids and parents!

In 2024, the aquatic center got a facelift! The extension project has given it a complete makeover. A new swimming pool, a fun hall with slides, paddling pool and water games, an aquagym and aquabike pool, massage jets and a counter-current river complete the offer. For relaxation, head for the wellness area (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam...). Sporting activities are offered all year round by a team of entertainers and lifeguards, including swimming lessons, aquagym classes and birth preparation sessions.

Every summer for the past ten years, a seaside atmosphere blows just a step away from the heart of the city, thanks to a beach of 600^m2 of fine sand on the Allier riverfront. Relaxation for the whole family, between paddling pool and water games, beach cabins, outdoor shower and first aid post. Add to that basketball, beach volleyball and petanque courts. Near Montluçon, the pond of Sault is a little la beach. Beautiful pond, it is especially remarkable by all the facilities that have been made and allows everyone, large and small, to become distracted, but not only: to stay there too! Fishing, sailing and windsurfing, a picnic area, a golf course and a mini-golf area. A pond that, if you land at the Domérat airfield, will allow you to distract yourself and to distract your children if you are in family.

Every summer, inflatables are installed on Lac d'Hermine. Children must be able to swim to access them. Two new structures have been installed near the beach and are accessible to children aged 4 to 12. For the little ones, there's a range of suitable water sports equipment. Wetsuits and life jackets are provided. You can also rent pedalos, windsurfers, dinghies and kayaks. The beach is equipped and bathing is supervised.

The balneoludic pool includes a 25-meter sports area with 3 lines for swimmers and a fun area with massaging beds, jets and whirlpools for the whole family. Children will have fun in the aquasplash while parents can relax in the wellness area. The latter is fully equipped for relaxation with a sauna and a hammam. Numerous activities are offered for everyone: aquagym, aquabiking, aquakids, swimming lessons..

A large 25-metre pool, a smaller 12-metre pool and a 7-metre paddling pool give everyone the chance to learn to swim, or just do a few laps in peace and quiet. A 36-meter-long slide adds a touch of fun. The pool is adapted for disabled swimmers. It has also been awarded the Tourisme et Handicap label. A range of activities, supervised by sports instructors, are available to the public, including aquabike, aquajogging and baby swimming.

All summer long, the Vichy Community Children's Department organizes discovery courses that are both sporty and fun. All you have to do is sign up for a day with a meal or an afternoon without a meal. 24 places are available for 12 and 13 year olds and 24 places for 14 to 17 year olds. Perfect for discovering exciting and surprising activities, supervised by specialized animators. The La Prade lake is popular with anglers, as well as with the few holidaymakers who have discovered this somewhat secret spot. Many return year after year, seduced by the simple, gentle atmosphere. Its large grassy beach, punctuated by a few trees, makes it a particularly pleasant and beautiful place to rest, read and contemplate. A camping area sits alongside, sheltered by tall coniferous trees. During the fishing season, fishing cards are on sale at the lake's restaurant.

Located below the village of Berbezit, the pond is the ideal place to fish (trout and carp), picnic or observing aquatic plants (prêles, sedge) and dragonflies. Small walks are available to fishermen or hikers in a situation of disability (also reserved parking), as well as advance on the pond (fishing dock). Ideal for a pleasant moment in a natural setting, two picnic tables complete the facilities. A interprétation lava interpretation panel gives the "keys" reading of the pond (which already existed in 1753) and whose water used to feed a mill.

Open from May to August, the local Bourbon pool has 1 25-metre basin, 1 basin in the end, 3 aqualudiques basins for small, 1 games space with trampoline and swings, and for the parents, history not waiting for motionless arms, 1 shaded terrace with bar. The sun is only a few minutes away, so as to spend a pleasant time as a family, at a lower cost, in a green setting conducive to healing.

This is one of our favorite spots to relax by the water. Much frequented by fishermen, the site is also shared by walkers, bathers and campers. In summer, swimming is supervised. Near the pond, you'll find miniature golf, tennis courts, a pétanque court, playgrounds and a skate park. The beach and grassy areas surrounding the pond are ideal for picnics and siestas. Stretching over hundreds of hectares, this man-made reservoir offers the perfect atmosphere for family weekend getaways. Choose from catamarans, windsurfers, canoes, oars and stand-up paddles. Once you've made your selection, you're free to explore the lake's various coves, picnic areas and trails.

Pioneer in Clermont-Ferrand, this diving club was born nearly sixty years ago. Today it has more than 200 members. The team welcomes deep-sea enthusiasts from 8 years old, for baptisms, initiations and to prepare level 1 to 3 diplomas. The membership to the club includes the license, the federal insurance, the loan of equipment (tanks, stabilizers and regulators) and the supervision of theoretical and practical courses. Since 2014, the club is the only one in Auvergne to provide a Nitrox compressor, as well as the associated training.

With its 25-meter covered pool and six water lines, the Aqualudic Center is an ideal space for swimming lovers. And, for those who just want to enjoy a moment with family or friends with their feet in the water, the balneo-ludic area or the paddling pool are also a good alternative. Sioule Loisirs rents canoes and kayaks to discover the Combrailles along the Sioule. The center offers several routes ranging from 11 to 25 km, divided between the gorges hautes for families and the gorges de Chouvigny for the more athletic. Picnic breaks are available at the foot of Château-Rocher or on the Menat bridge. Changing rooms, showers and a restaurant with panoramic terrace complete the infrastructure. The town of Vorey, located in the Velay region, offers an interesting water sports activity with the Velay paddling school. The school offers a canoe-kayak rental service, ideal for discovering the surrounding rivers. The école de pagaie du Velay is run by Jérôme Feybesse and is located rue de l'aire de jeu in Vorey. With its 25-meter long indoor pool, this pool is ideal for learning to swim, improving your swimming skills or training. As soon as the weather turns warm, the outdoor pool is a delight for young and old alike. Next to it is the paddling pool, for a first contact with the aquatic environment. For a maximum of relaxation, it is possible to settle down in the solarium. By taking the wooden staircase, you can access the lawns. This is a great place to spend a day, whether sporting or relaxing, with your family, in joy and laughter.

The communal lake of La Loge is one of the best places to swim in a quiet environment. The lake is appreciated by both swimmers and fishermen. The pretty grassy beach and the facilities along the lake make the place ideal for a nap or a picnic, encouraging us to go and dip our feet in. It is bordered by the campsite Les Marins. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake is home to trout, tench and carp. In fine weather, fishing is prohibited at the beach. The fishing card is sold at the restaurant Le Bruges.

Located on the banks of the River Sioule, Camping des Nières has a canoe base offering two different trips: a half-day trip over 10 km from Chouvigny to Ebreuil, or a full-day trip over 20 km from Pont de Menat to Ebreuil. Children are not forgotten, whether they're staying at the campsite or not: fun times are guaranteed at the Sioule Parc, with its giant inflatables, trampolines and accrobranches.
