Riding in the Sancy massif is an unforgettable experience! Whether it's a relaxing ride or a sporting trip with three paces, Sancy Cheval adapts to all desires and all levels. From an hour to a week, with bivouac and picnic, the duration of your trip will depend on you and your level. Groups are also welcome. With its Youth and Sport approval, Sancy Cheval can also welcome a younger public. This is a different way to discover the landscapes of the Sancy and the life of the horse so close to man.

Rides with Alexandre and Sylvain's donkeys are reserved for children aged 3 and over. Adults will accompany them and hold the lead of Fourchette, Jeannot, Zoé and their companions. Along the shores of Lac d'Aydat, there are two family-friendly walks through the forest. The first is a 20-minute tour over 1 kilometer, the second an hour-long walk over 3 kilometers. Bombs are provided at the start. The donkeys are well fed, clean and well harnessed.

Throughout the year, equestrian farm offers various activities to discover nature on horseback. These days, some of which are planned for a long time, are intended to enable everyone to meet and talk about a common passion: the horse. These days are also a good way of putting into practice the various progress made throughout the year. The master word is conviviality… especially for the picnic that you should not forget to bring. The equestrian centre spans 22 acres of meadows and has 30 box, a 17 paddocks owner and a horse shower with individual locker per owner, a career, club-house with sanitary and shower, a kitchen area and a picnic area. Horse walks plunge you in the heart of the Besbre valley, hiking tours take you on the trails of the Bourbonnaise mountain, it is ideal for horseback riding. They prepare you for the galops of full nature, the great career and PTV are adapted for the TREC competition. For year-end celebrations, they organise a Christmas snack with a horse ride by level. The equestrian centre is certified Pony club de France, Horse club de France and Equi handi club.

To discover the Cantal volcanoes in a different way, there's nothing like a donkey ride or a hike with a donkey. This walking companion can cover 15 to 20 km a day and carry up to 40 kg. Walks are suitable for all physical conditions. Self-guided walks, with the itinerary of your choice, are also possible. A great time to share with family and friends. Kids will love it! You can also set off on the roads to Santiago de Compostela, for a minimum of seven days.

The Cheval Découverte Equestrian Farm allows you to discover the world of horses. Jean Madamour's team will teach you horseback riding. It will also be there for a first approach of the children in company of the ponies. Then, the trainings will lead you to the competition riding with the jumping or the trek (competition riding technique). It is possible to go for a ride to discover the Cantal for a day or several days.

In the heart of Cantal, just a few feet from Saint Flour, Mr. and Mrs. Blanquet welcome you in their traditional farm and offer you accompanied walks, special or collective courses all levels and aerobatic.

This centre offers excursions to discover the country of Massiac and its surroundings. Possibility of hiking several days, to discover the lead of the Cantal, the Cantal Mountains and the Cézallier, or theme.

If, in order to change a bit of walking and cycling tours, you choose the equestrian option to cross the Allier? This equestrian tourism centre offers you the opportunity to explore the unique landscapes of groves bourbonnais (and those, wooded, of the Tronçais forest) on horseback. The pack donkey, gentle and generous, will take care of your luggage while bringing joy and delight to the children. Christophe and Rachel offer a wide range of hikes, starting from Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille. They will tailor-make an itinerary to suit your pace and preferences. On the first day, a 1h30 training session will allow you to get to know your new companion. For tours lasting several days, they can reserve quality accommodation that they know well.

Beware, the Chemin de Stevenson (or GR70) is no Sunday stroll! 4 territories, 14 stages, almost 250 km, a succession of positive and negative gradients... In short, it's enough to recharge your batteries for two weeks, while discovering magnificent landscapes. Les Cant'âniers is a non-profit organization based in Albepierre-Bredons, in the Cantal region of the Auvergne. Their aim is to promote the Cantal and hiking "differently" by offering hikes accompanied by a donkey driver and donkeys. The donkey driver will help you discover the beauty of the region, and give you advice on how to drive a donkey. You can choose between 1h30, half-day, full-day or multi-day rides. You can also choose to stay in a tent or a gîte. The Cant'âniers provide a donkey equipped with a pack and saddlebags to carry your picnic or luggage. Donkeys can also be hired for "freedom" hikes in collaboration with Le Col de la Molède à Cheval or au pas de l'âne.
