Easier to handle than a mountain bike, the fatbike is equipped with oversized and under-inflated tires, offering a better grip on all terrains. The outings are supervised by experts with a state certificate and who love the region. They take place on downhill routes around the Haute-Dordogne valley, on the slopes of the Mont-Dore resort, from the Sancy, Guéry or Charlannes passes.

Transformed into a "voie verte", this former railroad line offers an ideal setting for a pleasant bike ride, guiding you from Brives-Charensac to Solignac-sur-Loire (850 m above sea level). Spread over 13.8 km, the gentle 2% gradient makes for an easy ascent. You'll cross a 184 m viaduct and five illuminated tunnels, some of which are up to 1.5 km long, creating impressive and refreshing zones in summer. The route offers views of the Loire Valley, Mont Mézenc and Mont Meygal.

Sylvain offers you a fun, sometimes greedy, ride in the undergrowth on an all-terrain electric scooter. To do this, you need to be equipped with a helmet and before setting off, it is necessary to practise for a few minutes on an educational course. It then takes you to discover the forest and the Tronçais region silently and effortlessly, for three hours for the most athletic, and by unsuspected paths. This activity can be practised from the age of 12, depending on the size of the child, as there is a junior model.

Three starting points for outdoor activities (mountain biking, trail, hiking, orienteering) are permanently available. At La Verrerie in Saint-Nicolas-des-Biefs near the climbing site. The one in Vernet, between the school and the old stadium, allowing you to discover the orchards, the site of Hurlevents and the Rand'orientation for the most athletic. In Châtel-Montagne you can rent electric mountain bikes to go for a ride on the section of the Via Sancti labeled European cultural route.
