More than a wine bar, it's a place of life and meeting, because as the slate says: " Better than Wifi to stay connected with friends there's appetizer ", the tone is given! A small room all along the length of the walls with the charm and the spirit of the bressanes. In the bar you will find pressure, coffee or a glass of wine from the region, among the proposals of the wines of Burgundy or Jura. The Café Prunelle is a bit of a coffee shop as well as, in addition to bottles of wine, the shop counts a large number of shelving filled with books and magazines in which you can easily draw. It is also possible to spend hours in this wine bar, which offers warm wine in winter and where it is possible to break the crust around a pie, a perched ham or tapas for a small sum. On weekends, the bar offers animations to its clients. A nice address!

Dressed all in wood, this pretty room invites you to comfort yourself with a hot drink. Tea time is the busiest time of the year. Customers mingle in a room that's never empty. The drinks menu offers hot chocolate, black, white and green teas, as well as freshly-squeezed fruit. On the solid side, the choice is between homemade crepes and waffles, and for a lunch break there's pasta, savoury galettes, mixed salads and croque-monsieur. We love the smiling welcome and the terrace overlooking the Saône.

Le 88, located on Place aux Herbes, is the city's hottest spot. Momo's good humor is contagious. He always has the right words and ideas to make the place as convivial as possible. A modern dining room, a young clientele, a very large terrace. On tables or barrels, you can enjoy hearty tapas such as camembert persillé or a foie gras plank, followed by pizza, a burger or a generous salmon tartare. The evenings are often enlivened by live music.

Come to Le Voltaire for a relaxing break over a coffee, a creative cocktail, a draught beer or simply a glass of good Mâconnais or Côte Chalonnaise wine, accompanied by a tasty appetizer board. While the days at Le Voltaire are spent to the quiet rhythm of the sounds of the moment, the afterworks and evenings are more festive. On sunny days, the terrace is also a popular spot. And for special occasions, Le Voltaire offers its 200 m² for privatization.

Located at the gateway to the city, on the banks of the Bourbince river, it offers a fascinating spectacle for horse lovers. Races take place on a vast, undevelopable plateau, offering a pleasant, spacious setting. The grandstands welcome overexcited punters who cheer on their favorites at the ten race meetings held each year. The racecourse also boasts a 120-cover restaurant, ideal for dining during the races. For horse racing fans, Paray-le-Monial racecourse is a must.

From the moment the starter gives the signal, the spectacle is everywhere, whether on the racetrack or in the grandstands where punters cheer on their favorites. As in Beaune and Chablis, a visit to the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne can't end without a tasting at the fully-glazed Bar des Découvertes, overlooking the Saône. Treat yourself to one of the selected vintages: wines by the glass, by the bottle, from the Mâconnais to the Chablisien, via the Côtes de Beaune, Nuits and Chalonnaise! Quality snacks, charcuterie/cheese boards and regional jars, themed after-works...

Tango Swing et Bretelles, aka TSB, has enlivened Montcelli autumn for many years. In 2024, this musical festival changed its name (not yet revealed at the time of writing) and shortened its duration, condensing to three days, from September 26 to 28. It also concentrates on a single venue, the Embarcadère. What remains unchanged, a tradition too deeply rooted for Montcelliens, is the Foire aux grattons, which will celebrate this greasy culinary specialty on Saturday in the Place de l'Eglise.

In early May, Montceau-les-Mines is the heart of the Overseas Festival in Burgundy, which aims to highlight the role of Saône-et-Loire in the abolition of slavery. One of its highlights in 2024 will be a recital by Marie-Claude Bottius. This lyric artist from Martinique has put together a show highlighting the abolitionist writers, musicians and composers of ^19th-century French opera. It's a beautiful musical historical plunge.

Whether with family or friends, for fun or challenge, there are many reasons to go bowling. The Quanta bowling alley, perfectly located on the outskirts of town in the Prés Saint-Jean district, is sure to appeal to all bowling enthusiasts. With fourteen approved lanes, bowling balls for the very young to try their hand at, shoe rental, 250^m2 of video game space and capacity for private events, the venue has plenty to offer. A sports complex with a wide range of activities for young and old.

L'Ambroisie, food of the gods according to Greek mythology, is an exceptional Chalon-sur-Saône patisserie created in 1997. Its tea room is ideal for enjoying entremets, delicious chocolates or macaroons in style. L'Ambroisie's decor revives the style of the building constructed in the early ^19th century. The terracotta floor tiles, the luxuriously molded ceiling and the furnishings plunge you into a highly refined Belle Epoque world. A refined, sweet gourmet break close to the city center and train station.

Three rooms for three atmospheres. The so-called generalist room, where young and a little younger are found for a very dance atmosphere. The bamboo club club for the really less young disco rock'n'roll and zouk machine, and the room Le Jardin d'Eden which is in fact a pub where one can grow la (for the modest) or make real vocalizations (for Céline Dion).

The Irish pub, run since 1984 by the emblematic Ginette and Gilbert, has inevitably been the HQ of all Autunois at one time or another. The establishment ticks all the pub boxes, from the decor to the live broadcasts of sporting events that thrill the crowds, not to mention the drinks menu (over 80 beers and numerous spirits) and the snack offer (croque-monsieur, sausages, cheese...). A billiards room and a large terrace are also part of the soul of the place. And of course, concerts and festive events are regularly organized.

This establishment, which was resumed at the end of 2013 by a new boss, changed: finished the Irish atmosphere, "out" also, the strict pub function: here you can also buy wine to take (between 20 € and 80 € the bottle) and this is probably the most worthy aspect. The boss who constantly searches for new origins in local wines is provided at a vineyard in Beaune. If you come at the right time, you can find here a vosne-romanée 1998, or some good pommare. No? Ah! You are not very "wine"? Let's do it, the uncovers boss of rare whiskies that enrich your knowledge. Nor is it? Then choose a beer, there is a suitable choice. The hotel also serves a market kitchen at any time (charcuterie plates, andouillettes, carbonara pasta, fresh salads…). None of what you'll have decided will stop you from playing a baby, playing chess, darts, billiards… waiting on Saturday, Saturday night or karaoke (twice in the month). This place also organizes private and even very private evenings.

Three evenings a week and three very different atmospheres for this defensible club of the Creusot and Montceau-les-Mines. The Traxx is open to everyone but has a small preference for gay and lesbian audiences. The mood of Saturday night is rather techno-house, while Sunday's is really a nutty: There is a well-known show, which attracts a lot of people from far enough. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This café, close to the town centre of Chalon, offers the possibility to consult the Internet, but also makes it possible to make impressions thanks to the equipment of the places: photocopier, fax, scanner… Fans of network games will also be able to come here to steam on titles such as Half Life, Counter Strike Source or Warcraft. Notice to amateurs! The establishment remains primarily a computer product store. 

L'Entracte, well known to the people of Creusot for its bistronomic restaurant that will delight the taste buds of gourmets, is also becoming increasingly famous for its bar where it is pleasant to meet with friends. On the terrace or comfortably installed in a cognac-colored armchair on the mezzanine, enjoy one of the vintages on the menu, a craft beer or a cocktail that you will gladly accompany in the evenings with an appetizer board made of homemade charcuterie and cheese. It is a pretty cocoon with a chic decoration in grey and parma, at 44 Grand-Rue, which welcomes lovers of homemade teas and pastries. We sit down at any time for a hot drink, but regulars know that here we can also enjoy a homemade soup at first frost or a pretty bowl of ice cream with the most surprising flavours on the hottest shelves. From Monday to Friday, homemade waffles with chocolate sugar or even whipped cream delight adults and children alike. We like the small terrace, the soft atmosphere and the smile of Myriam Chapey, the very pleasant owner of the place. Finally we can also leave with our tea pack also available on the menu. A very nice address.

All new and beautiful, the Au Bureau pub-brewery has opened its doors jointly with those of the Mégarama, and for good reason: it is located on the esplanade of the cinema complex and it is a godsend. In a setting inspired by London's very chic and authentic pubs, Jérémie Chrétien and Olivier Carel opened the doors of this superb place that will seduce customers of all ages. They will appreciate the proximity of the venue, allowing them to have a drink before or after a movie session without having to move their vehicle, as well as the atmosphere of the place. Leather armchairs, subdued lights, large dining room or more intimate corners, the 250 ^m2 space can accommodate up to 150 place settings. We will appreciate the wide range of time available to really find a solution for all tastes, desires and genres, for a one-to-one drink, as well as for an afterwork around an aperitif board, or a broadcast evening of a sporting event. A simple brasserie menu will complete this beautiful offer, as will the concert atmospheres or theme evenings organised from time to time...

Open since 2022, 10.55 is already a must for families in the Chalonnais. Children can't wait to hear the name. It has to be said that the site has bet on an impressive number of activities. There's a trampoline park, a bowling alley, a laser game, virtual reality games, a Ninja course, an inflatable park, a tac-tic room and axe-throwing. All in all, a very tired and noisy atmosphere. A brasserie is also open for lunch and dinner.

On the Via Agrippa, the site of Chaintré is famous since ancient times and it is not surprising that the Cave de Chaintré is itself built on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa which was one of the largest wineries in the region. At Chaintré, it is not only the history and views that are exceptional, there is also a vineyard ideally exposed in the last ramparts of Macon, overlooking the plain of the Saône. The Cave Chaintré founded in 1928, is one of the oldest in France and, to our taste, one of the best. In respect of the Burgundian tradition, it offers outstanding white wines from Chardonnay, flourishing on clay-limestone soils. This human-sized cellar where you are always received with a smile for the tasting, produces excellent Pouilly-Fuissé is regularly awarded medals, of which are a Cantrius, a Chevrieres or a Clos Reyssier. Among the other wines not miss to discover, in a large modern and bright shop, in shades of ocher and green apple are: Pouilly - Vinzelles, the Saint-Véran, the Macon - Fuissé and Mâcon - Chaintré for whites. The cellar also offers almost all the Beaujolais crus in red (Juliénas, St Amour, Chénas, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin à Vent, Bouilly and Beaujolais Villages). The winery also produces a rosé wine and a delicious Crémant de Bourgogne. The shop also presents some local products to complete its gourmet basket: Marc de Bourgogne, blackcurrant cream, honey, jams... Possibility to taste the wines, with comments in French and English.

After taking part in TF1's "SOS Villages" operation, the Casabroc Café opened its doors under the impetus of Valérie Benardin to breathe new life into the small village of Charbonnat. Recycled materials and a friendly atmosphere are the order of the day in this cosy café, second-hand goods shop, tea room and second-hand clothes and books resale. Themed evenings are also organized, as well as food-truck evenings where you can sample dishes from local artisans. A great initiative that we salute!

Chez Virgule is open from early morning until very late at night and the following morning. During the day, we serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. But the bar is open at all hours. Serious business takes place in the cellar, with its festive atmosphere, wine bar, cocktails, beers and frequent Happy Hours, where you can relax and have fun. Beware, however, that on the evenings when rugby or other matches are being broadcast, there's no room for music! A place for sharing and conviviality, where it's good to take a break.

It is on the Place Saint-Vincent, in the chic and cosy atmosphere of the Cathé that the people of Chalonnais like to end their evenings. People come to have an aperitif at the end of the afternoon, they come to have dinner before continuing the evening or they meet to party until the end of the night. La Cathé is known for its numerous animations. Why not try the karaoke night on the 3rd Thursday of the month? Conviviality, good mood, laughter... the regulars mix with curious visitors for a unique moment. That's the atmosphere of the Cathé!

"Bierexquise and conviviali-thé" are the watchwords of the Papyllon. As well known locally for the strong personality of its owner, Wolfgang, as for its impressive beer list, the Papyllon is a landmark address just outside Cluny on the edge of the greenway. A large parking lot, a large room and a vast terrace beside the cycle path: everything is designed to invite you to take a break. In addition to a hundred or so beers, mainly German and Belgian, you'll find a wide range of fruit juices, non-alcoholic cocktails, local wines, teas and organic herbal teas.

La Grange Rouge is a large cultural association whose aim is to promote all aspects of Bresse's heritage. Theater, dance, music, gastronomy, heritage and environmental workshops are offered year-round through a rich program of festivals, including the famous Trad en Fête. Another event that has earned the town a European reputation for its flea markets is the organization of four huge flea markets (July 7, August 4, September¹ and 22, 2024), bringing together hundreds of exhibitors.

Created in 2021 by Bastien and Aurélien, two enthusiasts who met at drama school, Kezaco is a theater café open all year round, with comedy plays, one-man shows and regular improvisation sessions, as well as children's shows and theater workshops. A true café-théâtre, where you can enjoy a drink, tapas and dessert before and after performances. A warm place dedicated to laughter and good humor, ideal for ending a day of sightseeing in style.

La Cave du Caboulot, created in 2022 by Lauriane Lava, is the fruit of a passion for wine developed by the owner in her parents' restaurant and during her studies in Beaune. The address is brimming with treasures from every region, and also boasts a wine bar. The atmosphere is very friendly, especially during the regularly organized theme evenings (cider night, Argentina night, St. Patrick's day, concerts...). Aperitif platters of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie round out the menu.

The harbor master's office in Verdun sur le Doubs is not only a place of services for boaters. Nathalie Da Rold who took over the establishment in 2022 has made it attractive to all. The bar, its completely redecorated room with new furniture in a marine spirit, its terrace and its pergola invite you to have a refreshment, an artisanal ice cream or even a nice aperitif or a small meal. The harbourmaster's office is back, and with a superb view on the Saône and the port!

The Fratellinis Academy is at the same time a centre for high-level international arts training, a place of creation, production and reception of performances. Established in Saint-Denis in 2003, she succeeded the National Circus School, founded in 1974 by Annie Fratellinis, a large lady who disappeared in 1997. Its various activities take place on 5 500 m ² of constructions, the high environmental quality labeled in which wood and recovery materials were favoured. Workshops for children and adults are available all year round. Finally, there is a resource centre on heritage and new circus entries.

Facing the cathedral, you feel at home here! This tea room offers cakes and pies, homemade creams and compotes as well as hot chocolates or Mariage Frères and Dammann teas. And if we come for lunch, we will be tempted by the quiches and savory pies, the bowls, the veloutés, again home-made. The day we came, we enjoyed a carrot velouté with passion fruit and coconut milk, then a sweet potato pie with Morteau sausage and gorgonzola. Note that exhibitions are also proposed.

Facing the Cordeliers parking lot, this establishment offers you its beers, wines and cocktails "of the moment". There are also new and unknown names. A small restaurant is also available to accompany your break with friends or family, at very reasonable prices. As for the reception, it is always friendly. Moreover, as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, the terrace is always full. Especially since the animations are regular, between concerts and sports broadcasts. The opportunity to have a very pleasant stop in the city center.

Rock, reggae, blues, rap, jazz, electro, metal and French song are all part of the repertoire of this concert hall located on the banks of the Yonne. With a capacity of 500 seats, many national and international stars have already played there, such as Mickey 3D, Miossec, Kimberose or Piers Faccini. Keep an eye on the programme: it is both varied and full of great surprises, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, musical courses and even activities for young people. A must in Auxerre, Le Silex is THE rock and jazz scene par excellence!

On the lively and central Place des Cordeliers, several bars are located next to each other, which, in summer and winter, attract many customers on their terraces. The Subway (or Sub') is one of them. Here, all ages and all styles mix: from families to sports fans, from students to tourists... Regularly, sports broadcasts and concerts are offered. In winter, the two vaulted cellars with their lounge atmosphere are just as pleasant. A very popular address for the locals, starting with the party people!

Capricorn, bottom "bar sympathetic"! A little hidden in a small street in the city, not far from Saint-Germain Abbey. Le is a pub that truly enjoys both winter and summer. The boss always smiles and the atmosphere is good. A small quiet corner at some times and more festive to others. A few steps from Auxerre Lycées, young people can also take it as a point of reference. Capricorn, think about it, just push the door to adopt it! We love.

Opened in the spring of 2011, the Sahel is the only Moroccan tea lounge, which is a bar in Auxerre. Open from 15 pm, it's a nice place for those who love the lighting atmosphere with a little bit of change and also the pleasure of enjoying the oriental version of the mint tea. Located in the Saint-Pierre district, instead of an old design store, the atmosphere is guaranteed to spend a good evening or a relaxing time.

Football, yes, but football in the room! We are in Auxerre, let us not forget, A.J.A. forever! Here the concept is nice and safe. " And 1, and 2, and 3 zero! " If this refrain still sounds in your head as a renewed nostalgia, then come for the artist, or the charming Bixente! From 3 x 3, 4 x 4 and 5 x 5 on four synthetic terrain… What to spend a good evening among friends. In a casual and sporting spirit, you can take part in organised tournaments and relax in a room with a drink.

Very pleasant space. Three names: The Podium Room 89, the Rotunda Room and Room 99. The largest room comprises 488 seats and can host large public events, with a stage for concerts and dance galas. A second space with 300 seats is equipped with a bar under a wooden rotunda, perfect for cocktails and weddings. Finally, the small one has 100 seats with a dance track and sound. This complex is linked with many providers to make the party perfect: catering, orchestra, evening artists, limousine rental, photographers, etc… And on Thursday, it's "dancing tea" with the accordionists of the region.

In the immediate vicinity of Go Go, the paintball extends over 10 000 m 2, offering everyone a moment of fun. Accessible to children for 12 years with perfectly adapted protective equipment, several scenarios are available to you and will be explained to you by the facilitators according to your expectations. An outing to make friends, for a funeral of boy life, for example!

A restaurant-dancing that it is possible to privatize the time of a night and on every occasion, be they professional or family. A dining room with 180 seats and a dance track large enough for all your guests to play. Sunday afternoon is dancing, with all the musical styles, and in the evening a local buffet is proposed - all for 13 € only!

La Maison de Prunelle is one of those atypical places that it is always nice to visit. Here you will find homemade fruit juices (watermelon, peach, kiwi, melon...), smoothies, ice creams, cookies, as well as a pleasant table d'hôtes. But it is also a nice little shop where customers will appreciate the jewels, bags, tassels... Imported from Asia or home-made, it is a real girly and colourful workshop to enjoy yourself at low prices. And the mistress of the place also provides beauty care by appointment. We love it!

The Cité de la Voix is a public institution that deploys its project throughout the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, relying on the sites of Dijon, Besançon and Vézelay where it has set up its headquarters. In 2020, it joined the network of National Vocal Art Centers initiated by the Ministry of Culture. It supports musical creation with 1,200 square meters available to artists to rehearse, record, perform and create, notably through the famous Rencontres musicales de Vézelay held each year at the end of August.

A stage on the water, that's what has been missing for a long time in the cultural life of the area. It is now a reality thanks to the barge La Scène des quais which, on the quays of the Yonne, offers a varied program for all audiences. Managed by the association ARTEM, the place welcomes one-man/women shows, concerts, plays, shows for children or improv evenings... The program is always attractive, and the whole is signed by emerging artists, often amateurs. We can even privatize the boat for our parties with friends or family. We love it!

At the foot of the Tour de l'Horloge, in addition to delicious macaroons and homemade chocolates, treat yourself to one of the many teas on offer, and enjoy them on the terrace in fine weather or indoors. And don't forget to admire the walls of the ancient Roman castrum. You won't see them anywhere else! If you look down, you can even see the foundations of the Tower through a window in the floor. A second outlet has recently opened on rue de Paris.

For many years now, Le Patio has been a fixture in the life of Senon. Located near the covered market, this bar and salad bar with a warm neighbourhood atmosphere regularly offers concerts, themed evenings and exhibitions by local artists. You can also appreciate its inner courtyard with its arbour. And the food served there is always of good quality. On weekends, the establishment opens until 2am. With the key to a necessarily festive atmosphere! We really like it.

Since 2015, Monéteau has been home to one of the liveliest performance venues in the Auxerre region. While the Théâtre d'Auxerre presents plays mainly by contemporary companies, and the Silex showcases world music, the Skenet'eau offers a year-round program of one-man shows, children's shows, dance performances and concerts. Featuring national stars and up-and-coming artists. Past performers include Florent Pagny, Calogero, Liane Foly, Cali and Eric-Emmanuel Schmidt.

Behind the covered market, in the lively Rue du Plat d'Étain, home to numerous bars and restaurants, Chez Max is a wine and champagne bar. It's also a cosy tea room. Afterworks and relaxation breaks are on offer, with a good choice of beers and a snack of croque-monsieur and other cheese or charcuterie boards to share with friends. All in a friendly atmosphere. A great place to relax before or after your visit to the nearby Sens museums.

Close to the swimming pool, a large terrace on the banks of the river Yonne. A good festive atmosphere, we come here for fun and relaxation. The concerts contribute to this friendly atmosphere. Pop, rock, blues, country, Latin, rhythms vary over the weeks. A real pleasure to rinse the mandibles in summer before entering the piste! We feel right in the bath at the Espacio Piscina. The room was very clean and the room was clean.
