Julian Gouverd, also manager of the neighboring Biz'tro, gives a nod to his own history. His grandfather founded the Javel Barbizier cleaning products company in Besançon in 1938. The muted ambience and softly tinted decor are enlivened by a wall lined with polaroids immortalizing memorable evenings. The menu, presented like a magazine, offers a fine selection of wines, whiskies, gins, mojitos and tasty mocktails. An amuse-bouche is offered, and for those with a sweet tooth, charcuterie boards, tartines, tapas and burgers are available.
