The Barnacle has no website and is mostly visited by locals... which is always a good sign! Unsurprisingly, this restaurant overlooking the harbour serves mostly seafood. To taste: scallops, grilled lobster served whole, or the smoked haddock fillet. Everything is fresh and well done. Every Wednesday, the Twin Lobster Special allows you to enjoy two lobsters for the price of one. A bargain! Good value for money for this pleasant restaurant, which has a few tables outside.

A pasta bar with a refined design and decoration that offers creative cuisine, always in tune with the seasons. The dishes, gourmet and full of colour, are made from fresh and local products. The farmer partners are also presented alongside the artists who exhibit their work in the restaurant. A local affair, in short! The chef and his brigade can be seen bustling about while tasting their preparations. It's a place in the spirit of the times, which the locals really like.

Formerly known as the Castle Street Café, this is probably one of the most famous restaurants in the Berkshires. It is a fine American restaurant offering fresh, seasonal produce and, to make matters worse, a very extensive wine list. There are a few New England seafood specialties, such as lobster roll and chowder, but the establishment is best known for its meats, which are delicious and cooked to perfection. The New York clientele, particularly demanding, loves them.

This bistro is unquestionably the best in Wellfleet village. The oysters here are so mischievous that they can only be enjoyed at lunchtime, with a drizzle of lemon or a homemade cocktail sauce. That's right, Americans love their oysters with a tomato or spicy sauce! In the evening, the menu becomes more refined, with a focus on fish. Grilled, pan-fried or fried, it comes in many varieties: salmon, cod, sole, catch of the day... We preferred the main dining room to the veranda overlooking the parking lot. Friendly service.
