VIA FERRATA DE LA DORIA

Climbing

One of the most difficult via ferrata in France, reserved for the initiated! After a pleasant approach walk in the undergrowth, you will arrive at a goose leg. From there, you can go and see the Doria waterfall, with its small enchanting bridge. Then go back on your steps, and take the direction of the cave in Carret. This troglodyte house is now abandoned, but it is both the entrance to a huge cave and the starting point of the via ferrata. The ascent includes a slope. A path will allow you to reach the parking lot.

ROC DU CORNILLON

Climbing

After a half-hour walk, you will be able to see the Roc du Cornillon which overlooks the Lac du Bourget. At the top, there is a small platform, a wooden belvedere, which will allow you to appreciate the whole lake and the mountains which surround it. The most courageous will launch themselves to the assault of the wall, equipped with metallic equipment. This via ferrata has no particular difficulty from a technical point of view, however it is vertiginous. You can rent the equipment in several stores in Le Bourget-du-Lac.
