This brotherhood brings together some forty growers from the north and south of the Vaucluse region, who are committed to creating top-of-the-range cherry varieties. Their first creation was the Monts de Venasque in 1978, followed by the Chérise in 1997. Mont Venasque cherries have the particularity of being large in size. Every year, a festival is held in Venasque on the 1st Sunday in June, with tastings, a market featuring local produce and a parade.

Not far from Saint-Pierre, on the route de la Couronne, a small group of motivated individuals have taken matters into their own hands to offer the people of Martégaux the very first agroecological farm in the area, and even on the Côte bleue. An unspoilt place where vegetables are grown in a sustainable way, and where a small nature reserve provides a haven of peace for the local fauna. A magnificent initiative that allows everyone to come and buy their vegetables (as local as they come) and fresh eggs. A human adventure that focuses on sharing and meeting people, understanding the soil and getting back to good things. We love the principle of shared picking.

Marjorie and Adrien have been running this farm since 2012. Initially producers of red fruit, they planted an orchard from which they harvest the fruit when ripe. They freeze the fruit just after picking, to be transformed throughout the year into jams cooked in a cauldron. They also grow aromatic plants - saffron, thyme, rosemary, verbena and sage - which are dried and infused to make preservative- and colorant-free syrups. Also delicious fruity sorbets. Tip: Pick your own berries in season!

Looking for local, seasonal fruit and vegetables? Denise and Daniel Vuillon, the founders of France's ^1st Association pour le Maintien de l'Agriculture Paysanne (Association for the preservation of small-scale farming), support the producers of the first AMAPs in PACA and many other regions. You can commit to a sustainable approach by buying baskets of fruit and vegetables over a period of time (ask for details). Installed around the Cloister, this agroecological farm covers 2 hectares and is the second operating site of the Paysan Urbain in France. Two main activities are developed there: on the one hand, the cultivation of microfoams and aromatic herbs, and on the other hand, an ecological vocation to raise awareness of environmental preservation, especially for schoolchildren. The microfoots, grown organically and without pesticides, are used to decorate the dishes of the region's restaurant owners, in a short circuit of course. Dill, basil, mustard, mizuna, arugula and pak choi: here we give time to cultivate. Numerous workshops for "greening" and exchanges between generations.

Since 2004, Manon has been growing biodynamic vegetables and fruit in Eguilles and selling them at the Aix and Puyricard markets every week. With her laying hens, she added greenhouses and left for Sicily to be in direct contact with organic citrus growers. In 2017, not content with meeting her customers through conferences, she developed a system of self-composed baskets, direct from producer to consumer. In her store, you'll also find a range of organic spices to spice up all your recipes, a delicatessen section with soups and jams, and a fresh produce section (her father's Vaucluse goat's cheese). Dried chickpeas, jars of cooked chickpeas or in flour, this legume is at the center of Raphaëlle and Christian Jorgensen's operation. They grow and cook them in their workshop according to a Provencal recipe. Their specialty: poichichades with AOC Haute Provence olive oil. A delicious puree of these peas, hummus style, accompanied by sesame, lemon, garlic and spices. Established since 2008, on a small traditional farm in the Ventoux, the farmhouse offers olive oil. They have put back into cultivation the saffron of Carpentras, forgotten for more than 100 years. As for the certified organic harvests (approximate dates) from 20/04 to 5/05 it will be the strawberry season, from 15/05 to 01/07 the cherry, from 25/05 to 10/07 the apricot, from 01/07 to 20/08 the fig, from 20/08 to 25/09 the grape and from 25/09 to 15/10 the quince; ideal for making good jam! It's a wonderful family story that began between the wars, when Henri Pellestor fell in love with the Sarteau pear (an ancient variety), and developed its cultivation on his farm. His grandsons Claude and Rémy took over the business. The orchard is organic, and their Sarteau pear is the first whole candied fruit in France to be certified organic. the candied fruit is sold under the Le Trésor de Marie-Augustine label, a tribute to the gourmet grandmother whose recipes made the company a success, even today.

La Maison Plantin specialises in oils, vinegars, flavoured condiments and truffles. It delivers the best tables throughout the world and its catalogue is conceived as a work of art. It markets its entire range of washed, brushed and sorted whole fresh black truffles in cans or jars. It also offers excellent morels, chanterelles and other dried porcini mushrooms. A beautiful story and a superb initiative for a young duo composed of Alice and Quentin, who have given themselves the mission of allowing the people of Marseilles to easily eat organic fruits and vegetables, produced locally, in the Sainte-Marthe district. An approach also intended to raise awareness of agroecology, with many workshops offered. Organic baskets, generous and inexpensive, are offered every week without subscription. The composition of the basket varies according to the seasons and the productions. The vegetables and salads are excellent. After ordering them by phone, you can pick them up at the bistro Georges on Tuesdays, from 5 to 7 pm, at Camas.

Maison Leydier is an agricultural farm located in Grans. It offers a wide range of local products, including artisanal olive oils, table olives, spreads and fruit juices. Flagship products include Picholine Intense and Subtil olive oils, and Picholine green olives. Maison Leydier also offers flavored oils, such as basil and black truffle olive oil. Lovers of spreads will delight in black olive paste with tomato and green olive tapenade. Maison Leydier's fruit juices include peach and apple nectar.
