It is one of the largest and most popular markets in Provence. With 450 vendors on Saturdays and 300 on Wednesdays, you can find everything on the stalls: fruits and vegetables, cheeses, flowers and spices, meats and fish, honey, all fresh products and regional products and also clothes and crafts. "A real playground for your taste buds", as they say so well at Sources de Vie! Here we apply the locavore concept: the products come from the Saint-Etienne-du-Grès market where producers and retailers meet three times a week. In season, there are several varieties of strawberries from the region: mara des bois, gariguettes, cléry, for which the Sources de Vie team will explain the specifics. The quality is there, and you won't be disappointed by the melons, courgettes or others always chosen with care.

There is nothing more charming than a Provencal market! Aubagne's markets are known throughout the region. Four times a week you can visit the large courtyards of the city center and the last Sunday of each month at the Espace des Libertés. The food, horticultural and cut flower markets take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The non-food market takes place on Tuesdays from 8am to 1pm. Richerenches, capital of the quality truffle: the famous "Tuber Melanosporum" has long been renowned. It is the most important truffle market in France. The wholesale market takes place on the Cours du Mistral. Brokers, truffle growers, tourists and the curious meet on the Avenue de la Rabasse and the Cours du Mistral. Reserved for professionals, this typical market is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, on the square in front of the town hall. It opens its doors to individuals after the end of the transactions between producers (from 6pm in summer). This is an opportunity to buy unsold produce and to stock up on tomatoes, zucchini, melons, etc. in quantity (everything is sold by the box). A real good plan, as long as you don't arrive too late because, as always, the good deals go quickly. An excellent idea to buy at low prices.

Only ten or so exhibitors, but a nice selection of products with the AB label (fruit and vegetables, bread, cheese, etc.). The prices are reasonable and allow everyone to buy healthy and tasty local products. What to make more and more followers every Saturday morning on the place Saint-Michel. In addition, the medieval atmosphere of this market is conducive to discussion: the producers willingly talk about their work and their commitment. A very nice and friendly place, as we like them in Provence.
