Many houses with carved wood were built in Husk, but there are two: one on the Place des Halles was classified Historic Monument. Its construction on the order of King Louis XII dates from 1498 to 1506: the Gothic door and the sculpted pillars. The other is located on Rue des Changes. Point of intersection between the Beauce and the Perche, Husk has an old business tradition. The farmers were here to sell or exchange their products. We are now far from the good of yesteryear, but the market on Wednesday morning retains its charm. In the season, the inhabitants of the region sell their small baskets, some live poultry dealers come again. It's worth doing a little detour, for its hall and also for its lovely small washing machines.
