Formerly part of the principality of Boisbelle, Achères is 7 km from Menetou-Salon, close to the Pic Peak (310 m above sea level). " Acherie "at its origin, the village was built on a th century shrine built by a hermit named Gislebert. Thanks to its monolithic stone altar, the church is classified as an additional inventory of historical monuments. Its hiking paths and its communal pond make Achères a pleasant place to visit.
