A small rural village in the Scorff valley, Kernascléden is traditionally linked to the Pourlet region. The village owes its renown primarily to its chapel, nicknamed the "Chapel of a Thousand Bells". Many visitors come from far and wide to admire the frescoes depicting a danse macabre scene by painter Maurice Denis. The church of Kernascléden is another important building, the construction of which was undoubtedly made possible by the will of the Rohan family. Bats have taken up residence in its bell tower. Nearby, nature lovers can enjoy a walk in the Pontcallec forest.
