Situated on the edge of the ocean, Guidel boasts several sandy beaches. The commune is also bounded by the winding estuary of the river Laïta, which separates it from Finistère. Stroll along its wooded banks or through the Rocher Royal state forest at Locmaria. The commune is also famous for its surfing and its chapels. From mid-July to mid-August, the "7 chapels in art" festival celebrates the local cultural heritage with walks, concerts and exhibitions in each chapel.
