In the 13th century, Pont-Scorff was the seat of jurisdiction of the powerful seigneury of La Roche-Moisan, before passing into the hands of the Rohan-Guémené family. Today, this small town of character has managed to preserve its rich heritage and capitalize on its cultural and artistic environment. The town of Pont-Scorff boasts a museum, contemporary art space, theater, video art center, arts and crafts workshops and stores, and is a popular destination for visitors, not to mention summer festivals such as the Us Cars and Bikes event and the Saumon festival.
