At the gates of Brocéliande, Guer is home to the famous military schools of Saint-Cyr-Coëtquidan. Divided into two town centres, Guer Bellevue, with access to the camp, and Guer centre, this commune offers many advantages to those who wish to settle down there. Crossed by the "voie verte", a former railway line that has been rehabilitated as a walking area for pedestrians and cyclists, it is the starting point for very pleasant hiking routes: along the Oyon valley or on the Dran hill. History lovers will be in a hurry to discover the Saint-Etienne priory, which houses the oldest chapel in Morbihan still standing.
