Situated in the heart of the country of Enclos, Guimiliau is a small town in south-east of Morlaix. It owes its name to the founder patron saint Miliau (the term Breton "gui" corresponds to "sabanes" which is usually translated by "parish"). Guimiliau owes his fame to the richness of his religious architectural heritage, including its magnificent parish enclosure. The municipality also keeps track of its past activities (mills, kanndis), as well as elements of the rural heritage valued in recent years.
