Located in the downtown, along the banks of the Saône, the Hotel d'Europe et d'Angleterre is more than a hotel, it is a monument full of history. This hotel was founded in 1267. At that time, it was a hospital that provided meal and bedding for pilgrims on the road to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. It was in the 19th century that the establishment became a hotel and began to receive a large number of foreign and especially English clientele, which is probably at the origin of the name of the hotel. Above all, the Hotel d'Europe et d'Angleterre has welcomed many prestigious visitors among which Queen Victoria, Churchill, Salvador Dali, Jean Renoir but also Catherine Deneuve and Brigitte Bardot. Since then, the hotel has been renovated while retaining the rich history of the place and in particular the floors in cement tiles painted in the mass coming from Paray-le-Monial.
The hotel now combines modernity and history thanks to the 31 modern, comfortable and functional rooms overlooking the courtyard or the river saône. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet in the breakfast room with organic and local products. In the lobby, a wine bar serves wines from the Burgundy Region and the Rhone valley. A fully equipped meeting room has been recently set up and can accommodate seminars and trainings. A chic and classy address that stands for its history, its location on the banks of the Saône and the quality of its high-end service.

Nous vous remercions pour ce retour et sommes heureux de lire que la chambre et son atmosphère vous ait séduit.
En effet notre petit parking est limité en nombre d'emplacements, raison pour laquelle il nécessite d'être réservé.
Nous sommes surpris et bien désolés de lire votre retour au sujet de la literie.
Comme indiqué lors de la réservation, nos chambres triples sont constituées d'un grand lit King size et d'un lit d'appoint. Ce lit d'appoint convient aisément aux enfants ou jeunes adolescents, mais il n'a pas la prétention d'égaler la literie principale.
La réception est à votre disposition 24h/24h, il aurait été si facile de nous faire part de vos remarques à la découverte du lit, nous aurions opté pour une autre catégorie, et donc une meilleure nuit.
Encore une fois, nous sommes désolés de ne pas avoir pu répondre à vos attentes.
