A historic monument, the Maison de Bois is a Mâcon institution on two counts. It's both a 15th-century building with a magnificent wooden façade, and a brasserie rooted in local culture. With its cozy decor blending classic and industrial styles, the establishment welcomes its customers from breakfast onwards on two levels, bar and restaurant. The menu is typical of a brasserie (ravioles, andouillettes, burgers...) and the chain offers two hours of happy hour every day, from 6pm, for aperitifs accompanied by gourmet platters.

Plusieurs chances offertes à la nouvelle dirigeante. Malheureusement, rien n’y fait. Accueil à chaque fois désagréable (on a l’impression de déranger quoi qu’il arrive)

La première fois, cette dernière se lavait les pieds et son tapis en plein service l’été..
Cette semaine elle s’embrouille avec son serveur (qui lui aussi n’est pas du tout accueillant)

Qu’ils partent élever des chèvres, aucun des deux n’est fait pour le commerce.
