A small village perched on one of Monferrato's pretty hills, Rocca Grimalda is culturally very active and typical of this welcoming region, famous for its castles and vineyards. It takes its name from the Grimaldis, a Genoese family who lived here for almost three centuries. In addition to its wine cellars and oenotheques, where you can enjoy fine local nectars accompanied by delicious cheeses, cured meats and small amaretti produced here, the village is at the heart of an area with a wealth of thermal and sporting activities. The village's landmark is of course its castle, which can be visited on guided tours throughout the year.
