The Osława Valley, south of Sanok, is dotted with wooden churches built by the Łemko people in the 19th century. Few of the original ones remain, as a result of 20th century destruction and hostile communist policies. You can visit the survivors on a route of about 100 km round trip Morochów. Inside, a beautiful iconostasis from the 19th century. Erected on a hillock, it is reached by a path from the road. A priest lives in the presbytery. To visit the place, contact him Szczawne. The church of the Dormition of the Virgin is nowadays orthodox. It is topped by a green bulbous roof. The wooden bell tower is separate from the church. To visit it ask for the keys at the house No. 20, on the road to Bukowsko Rzepedż. Built in 1823. To visit it, ask for the key in the first house on the right after the church Turzańsk. Built by the Greek Catholics in 1803, the Church of the Archangel Michael is now Orthodox. Its bell tower is said to be the highest in Poland for this type of church. For visits, please contact the house No. 63 Komańcza. The Church of the Protection of the Virgin dates from 1802, its iconostasis from 1832. Originally Greek-Catholic, it is now used by the Orthodox Radoszyce. Located on a hill, the church of St. Dimitri is Greek-Catholic. Inside, one can see paintings depicting the spiritual and daily life of the Łemko. For the visit, go to the house No. 12, near the church.
