Discover the different facets of local history: its geology, archaeology, history. The museum, built in the two renovated buildings of the farm in Chazey, consists of two independent structures. It includes an exhibition part and a pottery shop. A permanent exhibition entitled «The footprints of history in gueugnonnais countries» tells the Gallo-Roman past, the fossils and minerals, the evolution and transformation of the city, life in rural areas. Temporary exhibitions can discover many other facets of the city's past.
