A Unesco World Heritage Site, this tiny 5,000-hectare reserve is located on the borders of Guinea, Liberia, and Côte d'Ivoire, and includes the area around Mount Nimba, which rises to 1,752 meters (the highest peak in the country). The reserve is home to a rich flora, with a dense forest covering the massif up to 1,000 m, then by a mountain forest rich in epiphytes. It counts especially endemic species like the viviparous toad or the chimpanzees, which use here stones as tools! Given its sensitive geographical situation on the borders of the three countries, no tourist visit is planned there
