Travel Guide Parque Regional Natural Ucumarí

Not to be confused with the Bioparque Ukumarí zoo! This regional reserve of almost 4,000 ha is located between Pereira and Santa Rosa de Cabal, at an altitude of between 1,800 and 2,600 m, in the buffer zone of Los Nevados National Natural Park. The cloud forest is home to a rich ecosystem and bird watching is optimal. At the La Pastora Visitor Center, you can stay, bathe in the waterfalls(Los Chorros) just a few steps away, and breathe in the fresh Andean air. The trail continues to the Otún Lagoon, at 3,950 m above sea level, located in the heart of Los Nevados National Park.
