Travel Guide Conhuás

It is a small and peaceful village, 55 kilometers from Xpujil, which is made of traditional wooden houses. There are a few small cabañas where you can stay at a good price, because it is especially its proximity to the site of Calakmul that is attractive. Conhuás is only 2 kilometers away from the detour to enter the forest towards the site of Calakmul. There is then 1h30 of road to reach the archaeological site. Spending the night there allows us to take off very early in the morning, in the fresh air, when the nature wakes up, and therefore to make some stops on the way to observe the wildlife at dawn, a spectacle as well as aural as visual.
