Travel Guide Cenotes Miguel Colorado

The community of Miguel Colorado can be reached from Champotón (1 hour drive) or from the south of the state, from Palizada or Candelaria, passing through Escárcega, a crossroads that allows you to reach Calakmul. It is home to three cenotes that measure between 115 and 250 m in diameter. Cenote K41, the most hidden and wild, is home to thousands of bats; like Los Patos, it is impossible to go down to its banks; finally, Cenote Azul is the most accessible and developed, and therefore the most visited. It is thus by this last one that we begin the excursion to gradually sink into the vegetation to discover the two others.
