Located in the South-East of Dominica (between Rosalie and Boetica), the locality of La Plaine, whose population does not exceed 1,300 inhabitants, hosts several types of establishments where ecotourism is the key word, such as the eco-lodge Citrus Creek Plantation, which offers villas and cottages on the banks of the Taberi River, the Rosalie Bay or the River Side Café for a lunch break. This peaceful area is also home to the Rum Museum, a building dating from the late 18th century: the property produced sugar and rum and stretched from the coastline of the Plain to the Taberi River valley.
