Travel Guide Wechselburg

This small town on the Mulde, located at the Burg Kriebstein and Mittweida levels, between Rochlitz and Chemnitz, has beautiful remains. Kloster Wechselburg is a Benedictine monastery, again in operation since 1993. It hosts a Romanesque basilica, one of the best preserved Romanesque achievements to the east of the Saale, that is, outside the expansion of the novel (present Saxony was a walk from the Empire).
