Shortly after Guachaca coming from Santa Marta, at km 56, ask to get off the bus just before the bridge. Go down to the river and take the small path that runs along it and crosses it several times, for half an hour, until you reach a large waterfall with natural pools. You can climb this waterfall for beautiful pools and a delightful swim in the middle of lush vegetation. The access is modest and there are not many people during the week, on the other hand it is the crowd the weekend. On the way, small kiosks sell handicrafts, cheeses, cocoa, coffee, honey and many delicacies!
