East of the Five Lakes Valley, Lake Morskie Oko is the most beautiful lake in the region and the main trout reserve in the Tatras. The ascent is via an asphalt road that passes through a fir forest and along the Białka River. Shortly after the start of the climb, you arrive at the Mickiewicz Falls. In winter, the hike stops here because further on, avalanches are frequent. Not far from the lake there is a refuge. From Zakopane, take the road to Łysa Polana. Leave the border crossing on the left and continue to the parking lot and the park entrance. Count about 20 km for the outward journey, the return journey and the tour of the lake. 450 m ascent
