It's a very nice little seaside resort. It extends directly Batoumi to the north along the coast. Its scattered habitat is on the seaside and on the hillside, ideal for summer holidays. There are many guesthouses here and Tbilisians often rent rooms here in summer. The long beach is one of the busiest in the Batumi region. Makhindjaouri is home to the Batumi railway station and it is here that summer visitors disembark. If you come by marchroutka from Kutaissi, you will cross the site. The beach is bordered by a pine forest, full of charm, and the village remains on a human scale
