Kobouléti is the first coastal town where you will arrive in Adjara. It is, in some way, Georgian'Grau-du-Roi '. As a popular seaside resort at the time of the USSR, it has benefited from the closure of Abkhazia's borders and beats records of attendance in summer, especially in August. All the Tbilissiens with a few days of holidays during the summer rush to rent bungalows or rooms in the living room, causing the price of accommodation to soar. In fact, Kobuléti is nothing more than a coastal road where houses are spread alongside each other.The seaside resort, ruined in the last decade, is in full reconstruction with the great tourist development the government wants to give Adjara.
