Wabasha is a typical Minnesota village on the banks of the Mississippi River. Main Street is home to most of the village's restaurants and stores. If you have time to wander around downtown, consider pushing open the door of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, the oldest Episcopal church in Minnesota, built in 1900. The stained glass windows in the chancel were made by Tiffany Studios. The church was designed by American architect Cass Gilbert, who also designed the state capitol in Saint Paul. If Wabasha is a pretty town along the Mississippi, we will stop there especially to visit the Eagle Center.
