Travel Guide Asperö

Located not far from Saltholmen, this tiny island with 450 inhabitants is a good day trip. You can go swimming at Kvistevik and enjoy the view from the highest point on the island, at the top of Vallen mountain. If you still have some time, you can visit the small museum near the harbor, which tells the history of fishing on the island. This history explains why most of the inhabitants are still involved in this trade. Opposite Asperö is the small island Rivö. You can't get to this island with the ferries, but during the summer you can easily reach Rivö with a kayak!
