About 1 km from the main road to the east of Sat-Şugatag, this tiny hamlet of 150 inhabitants gives the impression that time has stopped, with its small church dominating the village and its orchards. The church of Mănăstirea dates back to 1633. It was abandoned in the next century while the village is almost completely depopulated. Today the hamlet represents a magnificent haven of peace.
